Stayed all morning. Lovely walk through the rainforest to a tidal beach with a view of the bay. Good tea/coffee and home baking run by very friendly girls. Nice place to get out of the sun on a hot day.

This attraction is a real surprise: a botanical garden laid out with insight and wit. I had a chat with Robert Patterson, who seems to be the mastermind behind this fascinating garden, and who explained that the garden focused on native plants as well as plants from other temperate climates with heavy rainfall. Chile is well represented, as are parts... More

My favorite place to get a coffee in Tofino and enjoy the nice scenery. The coffee is good and the views are even better! As for the Botanical Garden itself, its super awesome. Great artwork and scalpers, and the garden plus vegetation is superb. You can find a great place to read a book or take someone out for a... More

A quiet hideaway amidst the vacation bustle. Loved the artwork hidden away in the gardens, and the paths through the woods and by the shore.

We went during the day and enjoyed a calm and peaceful walk around the gardens, a lovely atmosphere and great views of the inner sound. Birdlife abundant and the trees and forest were good to explore. What tipped it for us was the Lantern Festival. Yes, it cost us more to go back in the evening but well worth it.... More

This was a very easy walk, unfortunately the water was at high tide, so we did not see any animals, there were some art work which we stopped and look at. A nice Cafe for a coffee or tea, with some yummy pastries.

This is a beautiful garden with a wonderful variety of plants and trees. We went there during a rainy day but that didn't spoil the views. Additionally, they serve a wonderful espresso and homemade scones! This might not be on your Tofino radar, but it is definitely worth the trip.

Well worth a visit for garden lovers. The entrance has a cafe serving drinks and cakes. Wifi is available to visitors. The gardens are very pretty. Some parts have small allotment beds, flower borders and lawn but most is natural forest. There is a short circular walk around the gardens which come out to an inlet with stunning views and... Usually I avoid botanical gardens but I am so pleased I did not do so this time. A great garden with list of plants, tress, sculptures to see and all have a story to tell. Exceptionally well maintained, the owner is visible to visitors and is happy to chat about the centre. Well worth a visit
