Rainforest Trail has two routes, A & B, both of which fully engulf you in the temperate rainforest full of gigantic western red cedars and western hemlocks. Sparking a sensation of zen, you will be overcome with the nostalgia of your childhood memories, ready to make more. Scan the upper canopy for birds, listen to the trickle of water and smell the life of this highly productive forest. Trail A is located on the opposite side of the highway from the parking lot. Trail B starts from the parking lot.

Definitely a must visit if you'd like to experience local natural forest. We went on a Sunday evening and the lower path B was almost empty, which provided for calm peaceful experience and fantastic pictures. The trees and plants are huge and you feel so...More

The Rainforest Trail was a beautiful short 1km walk in loop B. A narrow wooden boardwalk leads you into the Rainforest among the beautiful and big trees. Be careful of broken boards along the way and be prepared for stairs. Take your camera so you...More

Great walk through wonderful scenery leading to the beach. There are stairs and the boardwalk is narrow, if you meet someone you need to stop and decide who is going first. But the whole 1 km walk is on a boardwalk which we totally loved....More

Pretty, short trail, only about 1k on the east side of the highway but be advised it's almost all stairs.

Short 1km B loop. Beautiful! Some stairs and narrow boardwalk paths with the railing on only one side, no problem for a family with a nine and five-year-old.

We visited this on a sunny day which is possibly a rare event in an an area which has 3 metres of rain annually. Rain or shine this is an outstanding relatively short walk. The trail is two looped sections on both sides of the...More

This trail is about 2 km long and it's basically a board walk through the forest. It's not suitable for infirm or disabled people as there are quite a few steps involved. It winds its way in a circle through the ancient forest. Information boards...More

A nice walk with lots of steps. For the most part the walk way is boarded. Keeps your feet dry and looks stunning through the forest. Some of the boards are loose so be careful. It's a little boggy towards the end and there's a...More

A great walk through the woods to take in a great rainforest. The steps can be slippery and some areas of the wood is eroding, but well worth the hike.

We absolutely loved our walk on the Rainforest Trail! There is quite an elaborate and impressive boardwalk system that takes you on a long loop through this pristine forest & for the most part it is in great shape! There is a section however that...More

It's a short drive from Tofino, towards Uqleut. If you go to the visitors centre you can pick up a free map and all locals should be aware of it.
