We just recently took a whale watching tour with this company. We were thrilled to see Grey Whales and our guide was very knowledgeable and chatty about the experience. We also saw sea lions on our way back. Would definitely recommend this company to others.

I can not speak too highly of this, in particular our skipper Oran, a young local man who showed a great level of knowledge and a deep love for his country. We went out on a zodiac and felt really safe as he guided us to four bear sightings. We also saw two bald eagles and a harbor seal. Altogether... More

This place was busy when we dropped by. Luckily we got in on the 4pm tour. The lady that helped us was nice, got our payment quick and when the phone rang, she forgot that we were standing there. I understand that each customer is important but because we were there she should've attended to us first. I would say... More

I visited Tofino with a friend and wanted to do something I haven't done there before so we decided on a hot springs cove tour. We initially chose ocean outfitters because they were the only company with a 7am departure and I am glad we did. The 7am time meant we were the first group to the hot springs by... More

If you have gone on whale watching tours in the past...this will certainly be a disappointment. Yes..we seen sea lions, seals and two grey whales..but we were extremely far away from all the wildlife. I live in Nova Scotia, Cape Breton and have gone on several whale watching trips in the past, which are far better. Extreme disappointment as it... More

We went on a whale trip with ocean outfitters during our visit to Tofino. Very friendly and knowledgeable guide. We were lucky to see sea otters, sea lions, orcas and grey whales. The (high speed) boat trip itself is already a great experience

Unfortunately it was very foggy in the a.m., so didn't see too much. Did see bald eagles and sea otters going out. The spring are really cool. Get there early, if it is busy there is not much room. Coming back we saw five orcas feeding and that was awesome. Front staff very friendly and helpful. Zodiac was a different... More

This was a great way to spend a morning on the west coast of Vancouver Island. We had an amazing guide, Misty, who was knowledgeable about the wildlife, obviously passionate about her work, and a really safe pilot for our zodiac. She was always very aware of the wake from the boat and how it would affect the coast line,... More

we had a private boat tour with our family (party of 15 with small children): bear watching was excellent with captains Kyle and Jessie but on the day after for the whale watching the sea was very tough and a large part of the family got sea-sick, a 3 year kind fall down from the seat... they should warn customers... We came with a group of 10 women for a "bachelorette" type occasion, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Our wonderful guide Kai managed to squeeze whales, more whales, puffins, sea otters, and sea caves into the time it took to get from Tofino to the hot springs and back. Which were magical and wonderful and not to be... More
