The early start, dictated by the time of the low tide, was definitely worth it. We had extended views of a number of different bears in a number of locations, totally unaware of, or unconcerned by, our presence. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing day that started with a boat ride over to the springs. A beautiful walk through the rainforest then the hot springs followed by a sea plane flight home. Everything in one tour

The Hot Springs Cove tour is pretty much all day (6 1/2 hours). The captain also does a search for bears, whales, sea otters, and sea lions. Staying in Parksville isn't reasonable to do a tour in Tofino, which is almost 2... More

Ocean Outfitters offer winter Hot Springs Cove programs year round plus taxi service to the Big Tree Trail on Meares Island. We still have whales in the area however it is not whale or bear season. Call the office 2507252866... More
