Semi-Private Surf Lessons Excellent

My two young daughters, 7 (almost 8) and 9 years old wanted to learn to surf, and I was a bit worried about them in the cold waters and surf as they are not strong swimmers. We booked a semi-private lesson with Eliza - Surf Sister provided everything they needed, including wet suits, and Eliza was very patient and gave... More

We had a family private lesson which was well worth it as none of us had ever surfed before. Although I was skeptical about the waves and my ability to surf (my 10 and 13 year old boys were naturals), my instructor managed to get me to 'pop up' and ride a few waves! We're all hooked!

We had a family lesson with Lydia and had a great experience. Our boys (ages 12, 10, 8) were all able to get up on the board and Lydia was an excellent instructor. She was patient and enthusiastic. We highly recommend this company.

We went into their shop and registered our 11 year old daughter for lessons for the following afternoon. She had a private lesson because of her age. Her surf instructor, Eliza, was excellent, she was kind, patient, very informative, physically fit (standing in cold water assisting our child - ugg) and our daughter 'clicked' with her. I would highly recommend... More

We had a lesson with Brianna. First time on a board for me, my partner has been out years ago. Brianna was so patient with us, explained the science behind the sport, gave us some tips and let us head out to the "whities". We enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back for more!!

This was my first experience surfing, and learned a bunch. I learned that surfing is so much more than standing up on your board and Shezza and Nicole were great with all the science tutorials. Using the sand as their white board went into detail about waves, tides, winds which was really appealing to my 59 yr old father that... More

We had taken family surf lessons before with Surf Sisters and felt very comfortable with the basics. This year we put our two kids (ages 15, 17) in lessons with Brianna to help them learn some new skills. They came back with rave reviews, "she was awesome and fun!" The next day when we were surfing as a family I... More

Today our family had the BEST experience being taught by Katrina. She was super enthusiastic and helpful and made the lesson fun. Without it there was no way we could have tried surfing. They supply wet suits that are suitable for the cold Pacific Ocean. They also provide you with water shoes/boots. The lesson was hands on and easy to... More
