We brought our two teenage daughters along and they actually enjoyed it. Our Captain Ian was very engaging and made an effort to talk to the girls too. I liked that he addressed them and ourselves by our names which is rare these days I think. Many people have a “hey you” way of talking to people. For the probably... More

Husband and myself over from England wanted to go halibut fishing, never having done this before. Captain Ian was so helpful - we tried for first 2 hours for halibut, no luck despite moving around, so Ian took us to a salmon area and we both caught plenty, mainly wild coho which had to be released and a spring. But... More

Mike our Captain took our family trip to a hot spot called two humps. The action was constant thanks to his knowledge of the sea and the lures to use on the day. We caught 10 or more hard fighting Coho and Chinook to 10lb during our 4 hour trip. The family thought it was great and enjoyed one of... More

Jamie, the manager, called me the day before our scheduled in-shore fly fishing trip to warn me that the in-shore salmon fishing was horrible due to the water being too warm. I considered this to be a very honorable gesture and I told Jamie that as long as we could mix some crab fishing and rockfish fishing into the trip... More

We were on a mission to catch big King and Coho Salmon and Rob, our guide, didn't disappoint...we caught our catch for the day despite snotty, rough water! He was very respectful of our wishes and was extremely persistent and proactive with his guiding/fishing skills. Our kids ended up getting motion sickness but they toughed it out and dealt with... We, my wife, our friend and I, had a 5 hours fishing trip for salmons. It was our first time salt water fishing experience. Captain was so dedicated not only to catch fish, but also to make sure each of us fully understand the fishing techniques, and finally we have successfully got three big Chinook Salmons on board! We will... More

We went for a flyfishing trip inshore, and really enjoyed our time. Our guide Johnny was really friendly and kind and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. We were hoping for some salmon, but unfortunately they wouldn't bite for us that day. Nevertheless, we had fun catching rockfish and bass, and enjoyed the scenery of the beautiful islands... More

I booked 3 days (16 hours) of fishing 9 months ahead of time after I had looked into many of the lodges, which wanted to tell me what dates I could come. Hubby had always wanted to go out somewhere special and fish for salmon, cod, halibut...12 weeks before our trip, my husband had a stroke. I was going to... More
