We ended up doing 2 excursions in 1 day, the whale watching and bear watching. So Cool !! Our Captain was Aaron and he was incredible. Very knowledgeable of the area and super friendly. The boats are new and have washrooms aboard, which is a Great feature !! Friendly staff from start to finish, a great boat ride and awesome viewing of the wildlife out here in Tofino. This is definitely the tour company for you.

3 years ago my husband and then 6 year old took a tour with this company and loved it. Fast forward to this year and my youngest who is now 5 was itching to get to go as well. To be honest its not cheap for a family of 4 but it was justified because we were supporting a local business and they are an amazing company. We appreciated Chloe who works in the store front as she kept our girls busy with chalk and conversation about whales until the boat was ready to go. Our captain Aaron was engaging and did a wonderful job ensuring we saw whales and tons of otters which the girls loved. Covid has made this a tough summer for a lot of these tour companies as there are no out of town/country tourists. We hope to use them again in the future when we are back in Tofino!

I took the Whales and Bear Watching tours in August 23rd were very nice. We saw a couple whales (just the back, maybe they was shy😅). About the bears we saw like 5, was great. The landscapes were amazing. The captain of the boat was very friendly, funny, he took care of us all the time and keep the safety measures of Covid-19. I felt very safe. Thank you so much for everything Captain! (Sorry I don't remember his name😓) Nice to meet you! Very good talk😊 Have good luck! Keep going!

Went on whale watching tour with West Coast last week. Weather was nice on shore but really rough out at the site. Two passengers sea sick. Saw virtually nothing on the tour, only a couple of blows far away. Captain hardly engaged the passengers and said almost nothing about what we were seeing or looking for. Very disappointing, expensive, totally not worth it.

This company has the best boat for wildlife watching in Tofino. It was comfortable and we felt safe during the boat ride. Went for the bear watching and saw a few bears. The bot ride alone was awesome! Seeing bears was just a bonus

Thank you for the review! We could not agree more - our boats were built for west coast eco-tourism with safety a top priority!! I could not agree with you more - it is a real must to get out on the water when you are visiting Tofino to experience both the marine culture and the wildlife!! Hope to see you aboard again Keith
