I used to frequent this bar when I was younger, and I quite enjoyed it than. I'd say its definitely a place for younger people.
I visited the bar a few monthhs ago, reason being our regular spot, Nancy O's, was closed for renovations. The place is very dark and very crowded on the main floor. We had a hard time finding a spot for 5 people to sit down due to a lack of seating. Another kicker was that we each paid a cover charge (all though I'm not sure what we were covering as there was no band) to get in, and then had to wait in line again if we ventured outside.
The atmosphere at the bar was fun at first. Five of us, 30 somethings, and the youngest being 25, showed up sober to the place. We each had a drink and danced for a bit. After about an hour I visited the rest room, by this time I had had two beer. When I exited the stall there was a "bouncer" standing out side the door who then said to me it was time for me to leave. Confused, I asked her why. She said I had been throwing up in the stall, so I turned around and had a look. Nope, no vomit. I told her that was rediculous, I had come to the bar sober and just finished my second drink, a beer mind you. She than repeated that it was time to leave.
I left the washroom and continued to my table to let my party know what was being said and that I was being asked to leave. They all laughed and said it was rediculous and reassured the girl that we had arrived barely an hour ago and we definitley were not drinking heavily. She than left and returned with two more "bouncers". At this point I was outraged and demanded to speak with management immediatley. Well, this was returned with an excuse that the manager was not in the building.
After this our entire party decided to leave and vowed never to visit the dump again. We walked down the road to Alibis where we were received without any hassle, as clearly, none of us were stubling, pukey drunks.
I will not be visiting this establishment again. I felt very embarassed by the accusastion being made and as professional in the service industry, I would never dream of treating a paying customer the way I was treated at the Generator.

This night club is a dump. Has not been updated in 20 years. Feet will stick to the floor and if your not drunk you will wish you where in a real hurry.

Disgusting. Not worth the door fee. Drinks too expensive, crappy music, very dirty, musty dark and dingy. Hopefully it's one of the buildings that gets bulldozed in the future to help prevent the spread of this virus
