A good window into the history of BC. Loads of fun. Brilliant venue for parties. Dog friendly (on leash).

We were surprised to find it wasn't open on the Labour Day Sunday afternoon; it might have been fun to get a closer look at all the rolling stock locked behind the fence.

Loved this, would give it 6 stars when you realise how much work has been done by volunteers. We love social history and the fact that you can actually get inside a Diesel engine all the way to the back, sit in the cab, get...More

There is a large amount of rolling stock in this museum, but also a lot that requires renovation work. Entrance fee is reasonable and some inside topics like great train robberies. Glad i called and took loads of pictures

This is a cool place. You get to see old locomotives and antique trains. Really liked this! They are doing a really good job with this museum.

I was granted an hour here by my wife and daughters before we headed further north! Admission is very reasonable, and while some of the exhibits would benefit from some TLC and shelter (I guess typical of a museum relying on donations) it was very...More

I don't understand all those 5 Star reviews. The Museum is quite expensive. All the locomotives and everything else in in poor condition and rusty, it's more like a visit on a Railroad junkjard than a Museum. The tender of the steam locomotive has rusholes...More

As being from a Railroad family and having a 40 year career this visit brings back so many memories. Also the forestry section shows the wilds of BC that were conquered to make the wonderful result today.

My family visited on June 7, 2018. When we walked in the door, toy model trains were running on a track above the doors around the room we paid for admission. Started walking about, and were constantly surprised by how large this museum is, and...More
