Pity the track indications were vandalized or were not there anyhow. Further a pleasant location. Heard quite some birds an saw a squirrel.

This park has groomed trails that are easy to walk. They bring you right over to the river, so you can enjoy a view of that as well. The old-growth cottonwood trees are magnificent to behold! If you slow down & take a lil time---you will see little faces carved into certain cottonwoods by a local artist. Beautifully, but unobtrusively... More

Get outside and go to Cottonwood. You can easily make your trail long or short, depending on what you're feeling. Listen to the birds and just enjoy the time outside in the trees and along the river.

As you walk along the trails sometimes you can see the Bald Eagles that chill out at the top of the trees. Also there are six face carvings carved into trees along the trails. It is a great place to walk or run along the river trails. There is a new bridge there that lots of people take pictures on.

Great park with a big long trail along the river. It divides up and goes various places in the park too. Great for walking the dogs or cycling through. Take the kids for some fresh air and exercise. Great for bird watching and squirrels abound through the forest. I love going there to induldge on some much loved photography.

I have loved this are since before it was a park. My Dad used to take me hiking and boating in the area both before and after the park was built. I feel like it is allot safer and more accessible now with the well maintained trails. Look for faces carved in the trees!!!

Whether winter or summer this is a nice place to walk. You will find birds and squirrels love the free bird seed people put out. Look for little faces carved into some trees. Cottonwood trail connects with a system of trails leading around the city. Dont forget to look up as you might spot an eagles nest and perhaps it... More
