The park is a nice setting to kick back and relax on a hot day. There are good views of the Fraser River and the kids will love the water park. The park is close to the Exploration Place and the Miniature Rail Road. Come and enjoy a special piece of Prince George.

This is a huge park along the banks of the Fraser River, which we accessed off 20th Avenue. Even on a hot sunny Saturday afternoon they still had a few parking spots available. It has lots of green space, both open and shaded, playground, water/spray park, benches, walking trails, concert venue, small train, etc. Note that pets are not permitted... More

Nice place to spend an afternoon in the summertime, many events are held here such as Canada Day and Aboriginal Day celebrations. There is a playground and water park as well as volleyball courts (on sand).

Splash park, playground, outdoor concerts, volleyball courts and plenty of green space and trail access. There is also a covered picnic area, washrooms and plenty of shade to set down a blanket. There is a paved trail system through the park and nearby that my daughter enjoys riding her long board on, and is often occupied with bicyclists and inline... More

It was a sunny day, enjoyed a walk through the park, the train is great, more adults then kids :-) a walk along the river was enjoyed as was learning the history of the park and the native burial grounds.

This is an open, green little park that allows pets on leash in only particular areas. We did a nice loop on the outskirts of the park; watched the river and listened to the miniature train, then wound through side streets and back to our starting place.

Our family loves this park. We usually take a soccer ball to kick around while we walk the trail around the park. Our daughter loves the play area and the water park. It's great there are washrooms at both ends of the park. There are also sand areas with nets.set.up for volleyball. If you're lucky on the weekends you.might even... More

We decided to take the walk around the park that basically follows the river. Nice little hike and that was on a breezy day!

Lots to do here for all ages. Paved paths, water park, band shell, volleyball, playground, and lots of open space. There is a beautiful walk above the Fraser River with lovely views. There is also a great museum on the property called The Exploration Place. The park is the main place in Prince George for large community gatherings such as... More
