Love the outside and art work

You can get a good bottle of wine at a reasonable price. Loved all the art outside. To bad service was so slow the day we where. It's was not that busy.

Meandering in Naramata, we stopped at the Red Rooster winery--a combination of a rainy drizzle and the smell of fresh bread helped solidify our decision to park ourselves on the covered patio (with a gorgeous view) and take a lunch break. What a treat! The casual, outdoor kitchen was bustling and all the ingredients fresh and cooked in front of... More

I was very anxious to taste the 2014 vintage of reds from this excellent producer. They were only tasting their premium brands which I don't think are worth the extra $10+/bottle. When I asked about the regular $17-19 line of reds the response was that it all goes direct to the liquor stores & restaurants. Great commercial success for them,... More

We had the MOST fun at this winery. To be honest I didn't like the wines here, too butter and dry for my liking but our server Trevor was excellent. Great multitask-er and communicator and he made our time there even better. the best part was the outdoor scenery. All of the beautiful vineyards in the distance, rolling hills. Cool... More

I have had Red Rooster wines in the past and I am a fan of most of them and this current tasting didn't disappoint. This was the first time we had lunch on the outdoor patio though. It was yummy! The thin crust pizza had meat and raspberries on it! Yes - I said raspberries! What a interest combo.. sweet... More

We purchased a $175 per person painting, gourmet lunch, and wine tasting /winery tour package from Red Rooster. The experience was poor to terrible from start to finish. The art instruction was nominal, with a few instructions on different paint strokes and applications. We were then told to paint whatever we wanted. Following our painting session we went into the... I think our tasting guide was likely one of the owners and seemed less than pleased to be presenting the wines. No pride. And I could see why - the wines were not great. They sell a lot in the local liquor stores but as a blech table wine that I would end up using the rest of to cook... More

Great tasting wines!!! Wonderful winery w great energy and fun! Patio outside has a minimal view of the lake but the view is better if you stand outside on the grass. The food is delish!!! We had sangria and chicken spezzi (so good!!) Our server had just started and he was amazing and welcoming!!

The winery was beautifully done in a country French style architecture. The buildings were set out on a spaced out grounds with gardens and a fountain. As well, this winery hosted a restaurant with a chef and a covered eating area. The parking was very easy and there was lots of space.
