Beautiful place.

This is one of the bigger wineries in the are. It has whimsical art all over the outside garden. Recommend a visit to see Frank.

Red Rooster is expanding their tasting facilities and provide great, knowledgeable service to the customer. Their blends are amazing and the vintner is always striving to create the best blends from each vintage.

We booked an all day tour which included 5 vineyards and lunch. This was our first stop. Kim, the sommelier, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. The time spent with him was a great start for the rest of the tour. Thank you Kim. Great wine. Great experience.

We lucked out when we found that the Red Rooster has a restaurant. We had a wonderful mid afternoon meal which saw us through several more wine tastings. We enjoyed a great tasting experience, hosted by well informed and knowledgeable staff. The wines were good as well!

Red rooster is a well known staple on the bench and obviously we had to go. Their wines are great, that's not the issues or why. I'm reviewing. After my first pour, I dumped it out because I said I was driving. The taster scoffed at me and said he would forgive me this time?? I asked him to pour... More

Our first visit to a winery on the Bench, Red Rooster was recommended to us and we dropped in hoping to grab a bottle of wine before they closed. We knew we were pushing our luck. We expected a quick in and out. What we received was a full tasting from incredibly knowledgeable staff that welcomed us even though it... More

Enjoyable tasting. Very good staff. Nice presentation. Gift shop/tasting room is beautiful, but could use more pictures on walls.

I usually shy away from large VQA wineries but I do like Red Rooster. Many of the large producers have products in local liguor stores; prices are either compare or lower in the local stores. For example: Gewurtztraminer - 14.75 winery/12.99 LS, or Meritage - 21.75 winery/21.99 LS or Pino Noir - 21.75 winery/18.49 LS. However, here you can obviously... More

Not as large as the behemoth wineries of Napa or Sonoma, but larger by far than some of the hardscrabble vineyards - this is a pleasant, early stop on a naramata wine tour. In addition to tasting some nice wines you may get advice from their staff on "their" other favourite wineries to visit.

I live here and frequently take friends and family visiting to tour our fabulous wineries. This past weekend, took friends visiting from Ontario who had never wine toured and are "virgin" wine drinkers. Kim at Red Rooster took so much time and had so much patience with our newbees and questions. He was amazing, helpful, kind and fun. Red Rooster... More
