If you are looking for quaint with great shops and market stalls and fabulous restaurants this is not the place for you. Badly needs revamping.

Love this place for walks with my camera and gal. You can stop for a glass of wine or a beer. The New Westminster gardeners are some of the most creative on the west coast. And if you're lucky and some of the gardeners are...More

Love meeting friends there for a quick lunch or coffee. There is a great pub and several other small restaurants plus an ice cream/coffee place

Not a place you want to walk along now. The Construction has greatly affected businesses at the Quay. The pro development council needs to create a balance between their developer friends and the people who are trying to run their businesses.

We frequently visit and walk along the New Westminster quay. It’s lovely to walk along the Fraser River. In the summer there are large hammocks and a canteen on one end. There are lots of lounge chairs along the walk and a few restaurants. There’s...More

The day I visited it took 20 minutes to find a place to park. They have so much construction going on there on big buildings so there are big pot holes everywhere and mud and sand. I was not too impressed.
