Always interesting stuff going on. Went to see a "paddling" film fest about kayaking and canoeing. Great venue.

This lane way leading to the S. side of the Rotary Centre is called the Art Walk, on one side are the native Vitus Labrusca grape vines and on the other side benches with sculptures of seven fruit forms: "Fruit stand", a tribute to Kelowna's agricultural history. A the doors is another art work installation: "Concept to Creation". Inside the Rotary Centre is a small coffee shop.

We attended Thursday night’s session of Jazz after 5...delightful. Very talented young musicians and plenty of them. We liked that there was a rotating group and everyone seemed to get an opportunity to play. It was a very pleasant evening. We originally intended to stay for the Blues group afterwards, but decided to go eat dinner instead. We did, however, hear good things about them and would have enjoyed it, I think.

I went to the Thursday Jazz after 5 session at the Rotary Centre for the Arts lobby. It's a jam session with some regular players and others who joined in various songs. Some of the players were very talented high school students. This is the 8th year of Thursday night performances! The Bistro is open serving food and beverages. Check out this venue from 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursdays. I really enjoyed the music!

The RCA offers a bit of everything interested in the arts: free displays of local works; free Thursday jazz jams and blues; a very intimate venue for various performance arts; a pleasant coffee/light meal concession; and quiet surroundings. It is close to the Grand Hotel, Prospera Place, The Laurel orchard museum and boutique. and and the Art Gallery

A nice place to go for live entertainment and bistro food with a lot of nice sweets too. We watched a bunch of kids play some jazz music to a full house and later on there was a blues jam on the stage. Great place to go.

I have been there for a variety of concerts - comedy, guitar, and bands. Because it is such an intimate place, every seat is super.
