About
Meadow Vista is a modern artisan farm winery driven by passionate eco-foodies. We love to produce wines people say taste like "nature in a glass", while doing our part to help the honey bees. We never want to imagine a world without honey bees. The farm is located in Kelowna, BC nestled amongst the orchards of East Kelowna and is home to 150 hives of hardworking honeybees and garden beds of flowers, fruits, and vegetables. Guests can enjoy a tasting of honey wines, the gardens and scenic views of the farm, a true farm-to-table dining experience at our Bistro, and learn all about the bees! Stop by and experience all we have to offer at Meadow Vista honey Wines.

- Wynn W2 contributionsTasty Meads and Great StaffWe visited the Meadow Vista Meadery as a part of the e-bike wine tour run by Lakeside Eco-Sports. The staff at Meadow Vista was super friendly and greeted us warmly upon arrival. The gift shop is stocked full of the meads as well as fun bee/honey-related products (I snagged myself a few bars of Meadow Vista's bespoke chocolate bars made in partnership with Karat, a local chocolate maker). We enjoyed a peaceful lunch here with some melted brie and tasty paninis. Diana guided our tasting and she was extremely bubbly, funny and knowledgeable about not just the meads, but also Kelowna more broadly. The meads themselves were delicious and we snagged a few bottles after the tour was over. This is definitely a must-try activity for your next visit to Kelowna!Visited August 2024Traveled with friendsWritten August 28, 2024
- Wayne C1 contributionLoved the Mead, a must stop!!We attended with friends of ours as our last stop in the day! Did a tasting with Dianna and was the best stop of the day!! Had so much fun with her and really enjoyed the Mead! She shared so much of the process of how they make the wine. Bought a few bottles and body cream! Highly recommend this winery!Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 3, 2024
- Oleg SFort McMurray, Canada3 contributionsA Must-Visit Winery in Kelowna: Delicious Honey Wines and Amazing HostsWe visited Meadow Vista Honey Wines during an e-bike tour, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The selection of honey wines was unique and absolutely delicious—each one offering something special. A big shoutout to Diana, who made our visit even more memorable with her infectious energy and great sense of humor! She was not only knowledgeable about the wines but also kept us laughing throughout the entire tasting. Her passion for what she does really shines through, making the experience both fun and educational.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 30, 2024

Absolutely best feelings about this place.
Sanitary, hygienic, professionally made facility.
The host was great, gave us lots of good suggestions about wines, tastings were 2$ but the fee is waived on purchase. Wines are not that expensive.
Bistro is great, good healthy choices.

After visiting 2 years ago, this tour I needed to return. A small meade winery. Lovely, knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff. Very small gift shop selection. Go for the experience if you have not tried meade wine before

Food, wines and service are superb. Special call out to Austin for his great tasting session and to Diana who gave a fantastic bee tour - very educational and entertaining with her bubbly personality. I told her she should create a children's book as her story telling is amazing. I recommend Meadow Vista to everyone who visits Kelowna and be sure to pick up a "Buzzed" T-shirt with your wine and honey.

This place produces some of the best honey products in the region. The fact that they make mead and Honey wines and sparkling beverages with their honey is really quite fantastic. You simply need to come in and try this place to really appreciate the diversity of products that the honey can accommodate.
What’s more, they source locally for practically everything.
Wineries in the region have suffered due to winter damage on their vines, and this place is no exception . It’s the bees though that have been suffering like most beekeepers in the area with upwards of 80% losses of their beehives in recent years. After chatting with the owners, you gain a real appreciation for how much actual work and knowledge goes into keeping bees, let alone ending up with some amazing Honey wines, and other products.
From their traditional mead, to their honey wines, to their sparkling beverages that included things like apple, blackberries and blueberries all the way to their beer like product, the Pictish Beast True Braggot this place has something for everyone it seems. What’s more, they followed our tasting up with a heated wine that had some spice in it, and this heated honey wine was absolutely amazing. Seems like the popularity was such that they created a kit that you can pick up on your way out… A bag with the appropriate ingredients and instructions on how to make it. Look for this, you won’t regret it .
Overall, Meadow Vista honey wines is a must see, must visit Location on your wine touring schedule this year. These two owners have something very special here, and their passion shines through with their very tasty products, all the way up to the welcome warm, feeling you get upon entering their tasting room. We will definitely be bringing family here this summer when they visit.
Oh yah, This place can give you a guided Bee 🐝 tour during the summer… They do this every day in the summer.
PS: among some wine and their beer product, we picked up some bee pollen for the benefits that bee pollen can provide you. 🐝 🐝 🐝

We absolutely love Meadow Vista, found this amazing meadery a few years back on our week vacation in the O.K, where everyone is so pleasant, really cares about the bees and the environment around them! The pairings were amazing with the different meads and I even tried things I haven’t been brave enough to try before and really enjoyed!! Glad we found this gem of an amazing B.C backyard company!! Have a subscription with and nowhere else!!
