Pleasant evening walk

Lovely clean park. Lovely views and lots to do. Very close to eateries and once again Canadians show how to make the most of what is on their doorstep.

Waterfront park is a locals and visitors favorite. It has beautiful scenery and easy walk for anyone. Wheelchair friendly. Always something to see, it is a great place to hang out with the family. Plenty of green fields, Sandy beaches, food and shopping nearby. At the most southern Park of the park you can take the underpass to another local... More

A nice boardwalk that is right at the waters edge which eventually turns into a Sandy beach! There's water activities and a snack shack. We stayed at the delta grand and I woke up at 6:30 am to stroll the boardwalk and beach...I was literally alone on the beach and only a few people were walking or biking on the... More

Waterfront park has a nice path for walking and biking. As a pedestrian be aware of people on bikes. The lake is adjacent to the park and is beautiful. The park us in the downtown area and close to restaurants and shopping. The only problem is parking. There are a few paid parking lots and meter parking.

We spent several hours in the park. There were bands and different speakers speaking on different topics. Our intent was to see the fireworks over the lake that evening. We could not believe the amount of persons of all ages walking this way and the other on the lakefront promenade.

With easy access and stunning views this is a great place for an after dinner evening stroll. From downtown to the marshes its a reasonable walk, flat and definitely wheelchair; pushchair; bike friendly. Views of the lake on one side and maintained gardens on the other. If you're lucky you can see the beavers swimming in the lake (evenings usually)... More

A nice easy walk where you can see the downtown life and shops, while also checking out the beach. The buskers are talented, and along the end of the walkway there is a wildlife sanctuary with osprey and turtles.

Nice clean park for all ages. Interesting with great views. Could use more more food vendors. Seems to not have a lot of undesirable people just hanging around like you see in a lot of city parks these days.
