Last minute manicure
Sep 2019 • Couples
Having been on vacation for a couple of weeks when we got to Kelowna my nails were a mess. I called down to the spa and asked if they did manicures and if they could take me that afternoon. It was no problem! I got my nails done by a very nice woman. They served flavored water. I was very happy with the quality of the manicure although it was pretty pricy.

Wonderful location
Sep 2019
Before last week, I wasn't really a fan of Kelowna. I think it mostly has to do with the unrelenting traffic on Harvey (HWY 97) through the middle of the city and, as far as I know, the only route to the airport. Harvey is as busy as Georgia St. in Vancouver in rush hour...all the time, it seems. But I digress. Once parked at the Marriott Delta Grand, you really don't have to drive again until you head home. The hotel has a fine restaurant/bar in the lobby called Oak and's good for all three meals of the day or just a drink on the deck looking out on the boats bobbing in the lake. The hotel is also connected to a casino that houses a buffet restaurant and one called Matches. And if you happen to be staying in the winter, the Kelowna Rockets of the Western (Junior) Hockey League play right across Water St. and it's a three-block stroll to the refurbished downtown. There's dining, bars and coffee shops and lots of other shopping to compare to downtown Vancouver the aforementioned Georgia St. splits... The Delta Grand staff to a person is pleasant, well versed in the hotel/casino and willing to respond to any silly questions visitors often have.

Great quality treatment - well almost
Nov 2018 • Solo
I was a guest at the hotel and decided to have a full paper day from hands, to feet to a facial. The staff were super friendly to the clients, but 2 incidents left me anxious and uncomfortable. 1. Staff having words with each other and entering rooms without knocking during treatments isn't acceptable. 2. Putting someone in a chair for a pedicure and tilting them to a 180 degree angle, head down is a practice I haven't seen anywhere and isn't conducive to being able to breathe properly or correct blood flow to your body... On the positives - 1. Excellent manicure - cleaning and detailing of nails was of a high standard 2. Facial was exceptional and highly recommended - relaxing and very aware of skin types and what to use on them, especially \after many weeks of travelling where skin gets dry. 3. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel so it is indeed relaxing Give it a try - it is expensive, but on the whole, worth the money spent.

Spa day
We came here for a spa day. The property is gorgeous, the spa was refreshing and the patio was the best we found in The okanagan. We were pleased with the service we received in the restaurant. The spa services themselves were relaxing. We were however shocked to find out none of our services were provided by an RMT and the property only employees one RMT who must be requested when booking. This information was regretfully not given to us until the end of our visit. If looking at this site for anything outside of a therapeutic massage, make sure you request an RMT at booking. The spa was nothing glamorous for a hotel of its caliber. The waiting room felt more like a waiting room to see your local hair stylist than a spa at a four star hotel. There are three comfortable chairs, still water, biotin infused coconut water, and overstepped tea. The change room does not provide privacy unless you lock the main door, locking other guests out of their locker. Most shockingly however, at the end of our visit a guest locked her key in her locker. The front desk staff handed the guest a ring of keys to potentially open her and all other lockers in the room. The guest then went into the locker room unescorted with the keys believed to be for all the lockers. This definitely made us question the security of the spa and judgement of staff. We definitely question the security of the facility and our valuables even when leaving our valuables locked on the property. Would recommend doing more research and finding an alternative spa in the area.

Dear RebeccahMac, Thanks for taking the time to evaluate our hotel. Although we appreciate knowing how much you loved our gorgeous property and excellent service at OAK + CRU Social Kitchen & Wine Bar, we are truly sorry your spa day was not the exceptional experience you deserve. We never want a guest to leave with a negative opinion and would like to discuss these matters with you further. Please contact our hotel with your name and reservation information provided and speak with a Manager on Duty directly so we can discuss all of the details. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will do our best to rectify the situation. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Jason Guyitt Director, Operations

Location, Spa services, Lagoon Patio Bar
Did not stay here as a guest, but spent a 4 hour spa day plus lunch and then lounged at the waterfront outdoor bar for a few hours for drinks and snacks. Spa service wonderful - found Top to Toe package, including use of swimming pools, to be good value. The signature facial and organic products are simply outstanding. The facilities are dated, but slated to get make-over in the near future. Not sure what that will mean for the spa remaining open or not. The location is amazing for viewing the Okanagan Lake and surrounding mountain scenery. The hotel is lakeside, there are literally acres of park like grounds.

Top notch!

I spent an entire day (literally from 9-5) at this spa and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or return to it. The front desk staff was welcoming & helpful, and I first had a facial with Jamie. I have a lot of allergies so she was extremely careful and thorough in ensuring none of the products would cause me any grief. She listened to my concerns, explained the use & purpose of every product as she applied it and left my skin feeling amazing. I had a few hours to kill before my next treatments and took advantage of the pool. I also ordered lunch to the spa (an abbreviated selection from Oak & Cru) - the grain salad was flavourful and refreshing. I then had a massage with Mariam and, again, she paid close attention to my concerns and I left feeling much better than when I walked in. I especially love that they use Japanese mint oil that can also be purchased at the reception. Finally, I had a pedicure with Jamie and she did a thorough and wonderful job. One of the best pedis I’ve had. Everyone at this facility is professional, kind & attentive. They all have great attitudes and make it a point to ensure you have a great experience.

Professional and friendly staff and top notch treatment at very reasonable rates compared with other spas I’ve visited. One of the best pedicure massages I’ve had. Would highly recommend.

OMG - the best ever

The impression you get is - professional, clean, attentive and RELAXING! I treated myself to a pedicure and wanted to stay the whole day. This is what a spa should be like - the gold standard. Brooklyn was amazing - the pedicure was an experience and I have to say that I believe that I got more than my money's worth! I would go back to stay at the hotel just to return to the spa. Go here, relax here and come out smiling.

Beyond my expectations. I had read the reviews about the facility and knew that it was going to be a little dated and that they share the pool area with the hotel. If you can get past that then you will have a wonderful experience. The spa is on the small side but it still has everything you need. I had the hot stone massage and it was great. I loved the robes too, very soft! I can't wait to come back. I would definitely recommend this spa.
