This is the tour company to use in the Okanagan Valley! I planned a birthday wine tour for 10 people and as soon as I connected with Shannon, she made planning so easy!
David was our guide and kept us laughing and learning the whole afternoon! Comfortable van, took the backgrounds so we'd see more scenery, took so many photos and always had interesting wine facts to share.

We had such a great day! David was the best and most knowledgeable wine tour guide we’ve ever had, and Shannon was amazing to work with. We booked the private experience and it was well worth it. They worked with us to select the wineries and all of the wineries we visited were awesome. (La Stella, Le Vieux Pin, Road 13, Noble Ridge, and Wild Goose). The charcuterie lunch was great too. Thanks for such an amazing day in ‘more than’ OK Falls and Oliver. We would love to book another tour when we visit again!

Our group of six enjoyed a fabulous wine tour in Kelowna last weekend of Sept. Our tour guide David was very knowledgeable about wines and a great host for the winery’s around Kelowna! Our lunch was amazing, a charcuterie picnic outside one of the winery’s. Loved the farm to table local foods! It far exceeded our expectations, thankyou David. Would recommend this tour company for sure!! Cheers, Karen, Sandra, Barb, Eulanda, Deb, and Brenda!

Recently visited the Okanagan Valley, originally from Guadalajara Mexico, to learn more about the wine industry in this DVA. I took a Kelowna wine tour offered by Experience Wine Tours visiting 5 wineries in the west bank and east of which all were different in size, history, and illustrated the diversity of the wine industry in the area - great selection! The wineries included Quail's Gate, The Hatch, Tantalus, Spierhead, and Kitsch. I loved this diversity and the unique styles of each. In particular loved the unique style, art labels, and outside the box uniqueness of The Hatch! Overall the client quality service was fist class from the booking till the drop off at the hotel. Craig, the wine tour guide, was entertaining, knowledgeable and an awesome person always reaching out to share knowledge and looking after the group. The picnic put together by Craig was just amazing! The only advise I would is to select a tour according to one's wine knowledge. Having taken several wine programs in the past few years I tried booking a Platinum Experience tour but unfortunately were not available. Hopefully I may get a chance to return and absorb more knowledge beyond the general "basic" wine tour and to try more premium wines. Overall I had an amazing time with the group tour and impressed with the diversity and quality of the wineries and of course - the services provided by Experience Wine Tours! : )

I originally contacted Shannon (the co-owner) to plan a mother-daughter weekend getaway with my mom. Our sole purpose of the trip was to do wine touring through the Okanagan as it would be our first-ever trip to Kelowna. Shannon responded to my email inquiry very quickly and helped me sort out my weekend (do we want 1 day or 2 days, which tours do we want to do, which wineries do we get to go to, etc.). She even suggested that if I was really set on going to one winery that they do not include on their tours (Mission Hill), to only do 1 day with them - how honest is that?!. Fortunately I ended up booking the Naramata Tour for the Saturday and the Kelowna Tour for the Sunday... and I am SO glad we did! We had so much fun touring through Naramata with our guide David that we couldn't wait for day 2 to do it all again. We visited 6 wineries: Fitzpatrick (which included a full winery tour), Laughing Stock, Popular Grove, Bella, LaFrenz and Upper Bench (which included cheese pairings from their in-house creamery... yum!)... and the charcuterie spread for lunch was to die for!

For day two in Kelowna we had Dianne as our guide. She was absolutely fantastic and totally accommodating. I asked her at the beginning of the tour that my Mom and I were interested in doing a couple of more wineries on our own once the tour had concluded. She arranged it and after all of the other tour parties were dropped off, she brought us to another area of wineries where we were able to hit 4 more on our own as they were all within walking distance, AND she even brought the wine we previously bought back to our hotel for us so we wouldn't have to carry it. Talk about customer service! The wineries we visited on the Kelowna tour included: Quail's Gate (full winery tour), The Hatch, Sandhill, Sperling and Kitsch (a personal favorite of mine for its exquisite location). Again, the lunch was divine and I have absolutely zero complaints.

I will definitely be booking with Experience again to take in some more of their tours in the different areas!

Okanagan Valley, stretching along the entire length of 135 km on the lake with the same name, offers the wine lovers one of the best experiences. Over 200 vineyards and about 125 wineries make the area a perfect gem for the wine connoisseurs or for anybody who would like to sample some of the best wines in the world. The vineyards are all within short distances of each other, so you can jump on a shuttle and allow someone else to drive you around, or you can plan your own route. Recommended from my personal experience, starting in the south: La Stella (Osoyoos), Black Hills and Inniskillin (both in Oliver), producing some of the finest wines, Quails Gate, Mission Hill, Mt. Boucherie (all the three of them in West Kelowna), Sandhill Wines (with its sophisticated tasting room), Summerhill Pyramid Winery, The Vibrant Vine (these last ones in Kelowna) are just a few among the many options. Most of the vineyards have free tasting but others require a small fee. What best way to spend a weekend than hopping on the shuttle and sample the exquisite wines of this amazing Canadian region?!.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience with Experience Wine Tours.

Booking was easy - Kris replied to our email promptly, and even gave us more information over the phone. The price is fair for the service, provided lunch and number of tastings.

Our guide, David, was incredibly knowledgable and fun. He had so much to share about wine, we learned a lot!!

The picnic lunch was delicious, and had a lot of different options.

Really, the only complaint I had was that I wish it was longer

I’ve been on wine tours before: several in Niagara Ontario and also in Napa California. This is hands down the best wine tour experience I’ve ever had. I chose the Naramata Bench wine tour. Absolutely beautiful. David was a wonderful tour guide. The lunch was fantastic and they were so accommodating in ensuring I had a gluten free lunch. Nice new luxury air conditioned van. Fabulous experience all around. Highly recommend this wine tour company.
