This review is a little late but I had to make sure to write one! Back in August my partner & spent a day wine tasting in Kelowna. We specifically chose wineries that were dog friendly - we were so excited that Cedar Creek was on that list! We pre booked a tasting & upon arrival our server explained that there were pairing options we could add on (so of course we did!) Although this was definitely pricey it was so so worth it. We loved Cedar Creek - the wine was amazing, the tasting room staff incredibly knowledgeable, the property is gorgeous and most of all our dog was treated like a queen by every staff member in the place! We joined up with the wine club & will certainly be back for another visit soon. Highly recommend!!! I also wanted to say that the gentleman helping us out was beyond fabulous. I can’t remember his name but longer blonde hair. Please give him some extra kudos!

Hi Gemma, thank you so much for taking the time to visit us back in August, and now to write this lovely review. It sounds like maybe it was Josh who hosted you, so we will definitely pass this note on to him. We're so glad that you enjoyed your time here and we will look forward to seeing you again soon - at a Platinum club member event, perhaps? Until then, please take care!

Reservations and prepayment are required for a tasting. This is a beautiful winery with a great selection. The sauvignon blanc is exceptional! Doug was a wonderful host and very knowledgeable. Exquisite layout and great views of the lake. Stop in and enjoy!

One of the more expensive tasting experiences in the Okanagan, with no fees waived upon wine purchase, but we were there for almost an hour on their lovely patio and thoroughly enjoyed it. We did the tasting of five wines paired with small bites from their kitchen for $40 per person. You can choose from one of three menus, consisting of five wines paired with four small bites. We each chose a different menu so got to share between ourselves and taste up to ten wines.Jenny was a wonderful host, explaining each wine as it was brought out and why it paired well with the food. She also helped us with our purchase when we were finished. We had a lovely visit and have already recommended it to friends.

I only left like one or two reviews before, so you know I mean it when I write a review. My family visited during the Labor day weekend and we were very disappointed with the tasting experience. I heard restaurant is great but I didn't get to try, so I can't speak for that part, but tasting wise, I can tell you that you should skip for another winery. I visited Cedar Creek and Quail's Gate during my visit and I would say we had 100 times better experience at Quail's Gate. We were very unclear in terms of how the tasting work from the moment sitting down. We just had menu on the table and we hadn't been given any instruction how the tasting works. I bought the tastings online but I was expecting to hear how it actually works (how many wines to choose from, which wines to choose from, which wines would suit our taste bud better etc). Instead, server basically told us just pick wines from menu and walked away. We were so lost and had to ask again after few mins how it works and then she explained. Tasting wise, we were given all wines at the same time. At one point we had 15 glasses in front of us (5 glasses each for three tasting package). We didn't enjoy that experience because we should be able to enjoy one wine at a time and be able to share our opinion with each other. But instead, they brought out all wines at once and we had to manually look back at menu ourselves to do wine comparison. Also server was only there when we say we have questions. At every other winery for tastings, we normally have dedicated server to guide us through and help us navigate through each wine, but here, we felt like we were just given wines and rushed to do comparison. The winery and the view is beautiful, but if you sit down, the view is blocked by stone wall that's built at the edge, so unless you stand up, you won't be able to catch the great view. We may come back to try the restaurant at some point, but we wouldn't come back to this winery for tasting again.
