Always worth a walk about!

Lovely beach and park with fun for the entire family. Excellent shade and well groomed grass areas make it ideal for an afternoon by this beautiful lake!

Anyone who has any real class or self respect should be forwarned that this area..and most of the once very friendly town Kelowna has become rampant with drugs..and hores and villains of all social economic statures. From the authorities within the city such as rcmp and judicial. To the heavy traffic of angry Albertins or Vancouverites and surrounding coastal ares.... More

I have shown 2 stars as this park is used a fair bit by homeless persons at night, and I was not going to use it in the dark, but in the daytime it is a nice space with a tennis court and a bowling green and it is well used by a range of people.

This is a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the scenery of Okanagan Lake along the boardwalk down to Central park where it continues along past the end of the lagoon and ends at bay ave.

Stayed in Kelowna, went into downtown, and wandered the City Park. Beautiful place for a walk. Plenty of amenities such as Jet Ski's to rent, kayaks, parasailing.

A lovely park with a lovely Boardwalk. Multi use path for bikers, walkers, rollerbladers etc. Right on the lake. Very enjoyable. Some ruffians around but also security. I felt very safe.

Wibit is a water adventure in the park and there is also a water land based park. Hot Sands beach is faurly quiet and laid back. There are also parasailing adventures around. Bridge traffic can be a bit noisy.

Take a stroll down City Park in Kelowna! Nice walking trails, biking trails, water park for kids, picnic tables and the marina is nearby or just enjoy the beautiful scenery on the lake and take in the summer free entertainment and buskers. Near downtown restaurants and shopping.

During our visit to Kelowna we spent time on two separate occasions at City Park. The first time the children (ages 2, 5, 10) had fun in the splash park and playground and on the second visit the ten year old immensely enjoyed herself on the 'bouncy park' in the water. The splash park and playground are geared more towards... More

Very well maintained park/ beach area. Excellent solo, with friends, and /or with family members.. The floating island was fun, but it a bit of a ways out so it looks more appealing to young kids then it actually is... It's not easily accessible for youngsters. The splash pad is a must. Lots of areas to sit and watch the... More
