This restaurant features a great view of the lake and the food is generally good. Very expensive however when compared to other winery restaurants in the area.

On our many trips to Kelowna we always stop and bring guests to this unique winery. We didn't have reservations and with Covid we were unsure if we would be able to do a wine tasting. We were greeted by a wonderful staff member and offered a glass of bubbly while we waited to be able to do a wine tasting. Daniel was ready to begin our wine tasting and was so knowledgeable and very sweet. We very much enjoyed the wines we tasted and purchased some to share with family. Our friends who had never been there also very much enjoyed visiting this winery. Even with Covid we felt very safe. We will return again for sure.…

We've been here a few times now and each time seems to be different as we went with years apart! The view is spectacular. The winery is very maintained. Social distancing was in practice here. We waited quite a while for wine tasting which costs around C$10/person (Aug. 2020) but if you purchase their wine, this fee will be waived. We bought three bottles therefore can't remember how much the tasting fee was. You could pay for one tasting fee where you'll get a glass and share the wine with your family members, which we did. We were four people, paid for two and shared, as one member doesn't drink and I had to drive so can't drink either. Staff was very friendly and answered any questions you'd have about their wine. Not sure if they offer tours of the winery as it's during CoVid that we went and I didn't ask. We like the bottle fountain at the entrance!…

I am encouraging people not to frequent Summerhill Winery or Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna. I booked a reservation three weeks in advance for the outdoor dining area for 11 of us (One table is six and one table of five ). We emphasized that it is the outdoor area we would like to be seated in. The person that took my reservation confirmed that we would have outside tables In the outside patio area. One week before our reservation we got a call from the Summerville Pyramid Winery and they informed us that they will not be honoring our reservation and we could not have outside dining for that night. They decided to cancel our reservation as they had a larger group that wanted to book the outside area. And as I mentioned we went through great lengths to stress that it is the outside dining area we would need to have dinner there. Obviously the almighty dollar is more important to them than honoring a reservation commitment. I encourage you not to frequent this restaurant as if this is the way they treat their customers then you might wanna question all their other practices when they serve their customers. For better suggestions for winery restaurants in Kelowna I encourage you to try Quails Gate Winery, Mission Hill Winery and Cedar Creek Winery. All have fabulous restaurants with fabulous food and they know how to treat their customers honorably.…
