Rent a boat and go for a drive. It should have a depth finder as there are rocks below the surface in areas. Many interesting waterfront homes to view. If you want to just hang at a beach there are plenty to chose. The Okanagan will be very hot most days mid-summer.

It is a beautiful lake but we did not go into the water or participate in any activity. Do ask why, all we did was rest and relax... lounge under a tree and people watch. Lots of seating benches and easy access to washrooms, restaurants close by and lots of shopping options. Amazing feeling when you don't have to worry... More

This is just beautiful. We drove from Kelowna to Kamloops and saw a lot of this massive lake with its rich blue colours. A treat for the eyes and the soul.

Lake Okanagan is just stunning! If you flew into Kelowna then I am sure you were able to see the beautiful blue of Lake Okanagan. It remains fairly cool so it is nice for a quick dip to freshen up but even if you are not looking to go for a swim it is just a beautiful place to visit!... More

The Okanagan valley is stunning and provides a very different experience of Canada to what most tourists would imagine. The dry rugged landscape is akin to being in Greece and provides some great walking opportunities. The area has a range of activities for different tastes from wine and spirit trails to sea plane flights, riding, walks, beaches and swimming. We... More
