The lake is nice but there is very little access for tourists or residents. There are a few public beaches and a minimum number of parking places. There are no beaches that you can walk along as private houses surround the lake. We tried to go to Gyro beach with our grandchildren but could not find a parking spot. We... More

A chill lake in the city center. I can't see how the Okopogo monster can survive that long in this lake. I'll be bored to death in a week.

I love this lake so much there is so many places to go and so many things to do. In summer some of the spots are crowded like sun oaka beach but there is a lot of smaller places to go

A huge lake with a pretty Vista ruined by many billbords on the drivein. Whatever commercial message they gave was lost to me as the visual pollution was annoying and holds a political message! However once you get past these eyesores the lake is lovely.

It must be one of the most beautiful places on earth! The long lake starting from beyond Vernon right down South to Penticton, it is a sparkling lake bound on both sides by hills & valleys. It has small towns & many vineyards, with houses on the steep hill-sides. There are restaurants aplenty with awesome views & venues for all... More
