Nice park in Kamloops. Has a garden that attracts butterflies in season. Has a semi pro baseball field (20$ ticket, a little pricey). Lawn bowling, skate park, little league and bantam baseball fields.

Loved seeing all the marmots walking the perimeter of the park, and the arena is a great resource too

Always a great location for sporting events, lots of parking, lots of room to watch the kids, the only extraction is the massive amount of goose droppings. Watch your step

A great place to walk, lawn bowl, skateboard and watch a baseball game. There are other activities as well. Lots of people out on sunny days but plenty of space to get around.

This island is mainly for local athletic activities with baseball, soccer fields and hockey arena. There is also some greenery for leisure walks. Definitely not for tourist, unless for tournaments.

This is a great place for some outdoor activities. We played disc golf at the course on the western side of the park. There is no fee— just bring your own discs. Same for mini golf. The course is free— just bring your own balls and clubs. The mini golf course is fairly simple but has lots of twists in it making it fun to play. It is also in the shade in the morning if you need a shady event. The island is also good for biking, has a skateboard park and a playground.

Wonderful paved walking path along the river. Beautiful scenery, wildlife and perfect location. Look for eagles in the trees, marmots, geese and ducks.

Now that we have moved to Kamloops this walk will be on our walking rotation. Between the vegetation and wildlife (marmots, deer, raccoons ducks and geese there is lots to see and do here. Lots of sporting activities to observe or you can use the skateboard park and the frisbee course. Even in the winter you can enjoy The Thompson River but please don’t feed the wildlife. One loop is 3 Kms but I usually do 3 or 4 loops...just right for a 70 year old man.

I've enjoyed walking around this "island" called McPark for the at least 15 years. Have loved it every season.
The ice rink is there and have watched many hockey games there. Big area for "home shows", etc.
