The path is a multi use path , biking walking and jogging. It follows the North and South Thompson rivers, where you can enjoy the serenity of the water

It is so nice to have a long trail for running and biking. I think this is one of the nicer routes and paths in the Okanagan. I have combined all the areas along the Thompson River for marathon run training and it is always enjoyable. The nice thing is there are numerous places to park and do a walk... More

nice and flat. scenic. and if you want, you can make a complete circle, by doing the ' 3 ' bridges. it is very relaxing. and not busy. only one washroom that I saw, so beware.

The rivers trail is fantastic! I usually walk it out by the airport! The scenery there is great as you can get down to the beach. The part is great for dogs but can be very busy on the weekends. A great place for people with mobility issues as the path is flat but not paved.

We biked part of the trail from North Kamloops starting at McArthur Island to over the bridge and to Riverside Park. It was a lovely bike ride. The kids enjoyed the playground and our little picnic.

Starting downtown at either of the city parks...head out along the paved bike/pedestrian trails. At the bridge you can choose - I went north along some city side streets part of the way, and one part a gravel path as well as the paved parts., Very flat easy ride, but pay attention to signage when leaving the trail as some... Being a local this is my go to run route this time of year! The fall colours are simply breath taking. The path is safe with two well marked 'sides' for pedestrian traffic. It will take you all the way to Riverside and beyond with signs to lead the way.

The one thing that Kamloops is lacking is a nice waterfront walk. Kudos to the city for trying, but the Rivers Trail is just not like what you'd find in Kelowna or West Vancouver. I never feel safe walking there, it doesn't feel or smell clean a lot of the time, and the views are not so great. Keep an... More

I am always looking for new art, animals or nature. Great walk by the river in Kamloops. Can go around McArthur Island, downtown from park your park or Schubert Drive. All is good. Relaxing & quite safe. Just have to share pathway with bicycles. Find this new art piece!!
