Too much money for what you get..

Love seeing animals but not trapped in tiny cages like they have here. Over priced and understaffed! Couldn't find any one working till we got to the concession!

Great day adventure for the grandkids. Lots of info in the main building and staff are very helpful. The kids were happy to earn their first pins. They loved the bees in their indoor hive and snake inside the building. Birds of prey very interesting and all doing well despite their injuries. The casual walk through the large outside areas... We came while on holiday from Australia and were overall rather disappointed. The place could be amazing but is poorly maintained in some areas, like poor pathways for predominantly mothers pushing prams who were the main cliental. Miniature train was closed and no signage to let anyone know when it was open, assuming it is only open in summer or... More

This little zoo is located east of Kamloops and if not most then all of the animals are there because they have been injured in the wild or orphaned and brought there. It seems as some of them are returned to the wild again but the rest cannot return. There are camels too but we didn't discover where in Canada... More

The wildlife park gave us an opportunity to experience Canadian wildlife that we were never likely to see in the wild. There are many types of wildlife in the park, most of which have been rescued or suffered injuries that prevent release. A highlight was the cougar and a huge thank you to keeper Danielle for taking time to talk... More

This wildlife park is second to none for viewing BC wildlife. A wide variety of species in their natural habitats. Great for kids and adults alike. I specially liked the honey bee display!

Our children really enjoyed it. There was a train ride that took us around the park and we were also able to walk around at our own pace. The animals all look healthy and happy.

Most zoos have captured animals living in small or man-made enclosures. The wildlife park has provided homes to injured or abandoned animals in what appears to be natural habitats. we were fortunate and went on a quiet day and happened upon one of the zoo keepers who spent a fair amount of time explaining the park and the two animals... This is a great venue for a family outing. It's not cheap, but if you can get by that it's clean, spacious, very interesting, and a relaxing day of fun. Go early, when the animals are active - we were able to catch a glimpse of even the most cautious: the Lynx and the cougar. Lots of space in the... More
