If you enjoy paddle boarding and being surrounded by natural beauty then I would highly recommend renting paddle boards from Bodie. My family and I had a great 2 hours paddling around Heffley Lake. Bodie is super accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable.
Bodie has all of the safety protocols in place during the pandemic and made us feel at ease during our visit. I highly recommend Paddle Surfit if you are in the Sun Peaks and Kamloops area. We will be back for sure!

Great introduction to an activity our family has been curious about for a while now. Bodie was friendly and professional and even with Covid protocols in place, it didn't take away from learning a new, fun and safe way to enjoy the water. Any concerns we had as first-timers to the sport were quickly alleviated with Bodie's expert instruction and first class equipment. We took a few spills but that's part of the experience. Heffley was beautiful and quiet and it felt like we had most of the lake to ourselves. It's easy to see why it's not just about making a living for Bodie, it's a lifestyle! Warning . . . could be addictive!

My friend Dani and I really enjoyed our lesson. Bodie gave us helpful hints even for inflating our boards. I arrived a bit unprepared (forgot my paddle and fin) and he took it in stride. Bodie tailored the lesson to our skill lesson and what we wanted to learn. He is extremely skilled at the sport and a great teacher. His enthusiasm is apparent and infectious. Heffley Lake is beautiful.

We visited Kamloops for an hour of paddleboarding at Bodie's place. We had never boarded before but after an excellent, straightforward tutorial we were able to get straight onto the boards and were standing in no time. We had a lovely time floating around the lake and there were no falls! Bodie was a pleasure to meet, and was a fantastic teacher. Thank you again!

Our family of four turned up unannounced one afternoon a couple of weeks ago having seen a flyer in the Sun Peaks lift office and we were lucky enough to bump into Brodie just as he was heading out on his bike.
We accommodated the four of us, which included having a mega sup I could sit on as I was wearing a boot for a broken foot! The location is stunning and the kit was first class. Brodie was a great guy who couldn't have been more helpful.
Heffley Lake is great place to SUP and swim.

I have just done the two day instructor course ran by Bodie and it was fantastic. He was extremely accommodating, very knowledgeable and maintained a high level of professionalism but was also good fun and very personable. He has extensive knowledge of paddle boards, the skills needed to paddle one, all business aspects, all safety aspects and the water in general. He conveyed that knowledge and those skills in a clear and articulated fashion. His business is beautifully maintained and Heffley Lake is just a stunning location. I recommend Paddlesurfit to anybody wanting to have a lesson, or to just have some fun out on the lake. You won't be disappointed.

We found Bodie just searching for Paddle Boarding around Kamloops. You need to book by phone and it may take a couple of attempts to get him but when you see where his home / business is you understand why.
Bodie was welcoming, patient and clear in his instructions. In 15mins we we out on the beautiful quiet lake and enjoyed two hours Stand Up, Kneel Down, Sit Down Paddle Boarding. The boards were really stable and worked for all of us.
All in all it was a really special experience with a great host. Thank You

We stumbled upon Bodie's SUP business and he managed to fit us in. What an amazing place to paddleboard, so calm and beautiful. Bodie was very friendly and welcoming, we would recommend for anyone to do this when they are in the area! Thanks for having us.

We found the proprietors to be very personable, knowledgeable and informative. The instructions we received were easy to follow. The boards were great for us as beginners. They were very stable and easy to manouver. (Ask Bode about the boards.) They don't take drop ins, reservations required. Parking may seem limited but with reservations being required, I would suspect it is adequate.We will visit again sometime.
