We found this place on TA, since we were rained out of our outdoor plans. We loved the wonderful collection of farm tractors! Not just tractors, but hundreds of vintage items, you will appreciate how hard our ancestors worked everyday to live.

The farm museum incorporates not only the machinery aspect of farming but also the homestead. Wonderful portrayal of life espcially for women in that era. Great for families, kids of all ages.

The collection of farm-related implements is very broad. The scavenger hunt for children is helpful to understand the implements and to focus during their visit. However, there is so much in a small place, that finding the items may be difficult for younger children

A cut above most small town museums. Many interesting items in large open spaces. Easy to spend a lot of time here if interested in BC rural history.

The BC Farm Museum is a great place to spend the afternoon. It's filled with various farm equipment from field to kitchen items. The volunteers are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to share stories that go with the items on display. Definitely worth a visit.
