We've just returned from an incredible winter tour with Klondike Experience - Jesse was our guide and managed our team of 18 (students & teachers) with incredible consideration and thoughtful planning. From Whitehorse to Dawson City, we felt like every need was cared for - from food, to accommodation, comfortable transportation, safety and thoughtfully planned activities (we did everything!). Jesse's knowledge of the area is unrivalled and we learned so much about the great Canadian north. Our students are still talking about this trip and we look forward to continuing the adventure next year.

We were part of a group of 22 who were touring Yellowknife, Whitehorse and Dawson City with a tour guide from the East Coast. Our guide booked the bus ride from Whitehorse to Dawson with Klondike Experience and the driver entertained us with lots of information for much of the 8 hour trip. He also stopped for the best photo ops, at the largest cinnamon bun shop and for rest stops. The next day Jesse was our driver/guide for a drive through Dawson (hitting all the highlights), out to Dredge No. 4 and Discovery Creek and then to the Midnight Dome. Our final part day there Jesse delivered us to the airport in the morning, where we discovered that our plane was grounded for mechanical reasons. Jesse was called back out to take us back to Dawson (there is nothing to do/eat at the airport). On his way he arranged for us to visit the Dawson City Museum and have a private lunch at a restaurant owned by a friend. We were taken back out to the airport for a 5 p.m. flight. As other people have said Jesse seems to go above and beyond to help people have their best experience in his beloved home of choice.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Jesse and his great team over the past several days. They are top notch in my book, and I've taken tours all over the place. Super kind, knowledgable folks who want to ensure you get the best experience possible.

I needed transportation to and from the airport (no official cabs in town). I requested an airport pick-up in advance and the team was able to accommodate me despite how busy they are, which was an absolute lifesaver as walking to and from the Dawson City Airport isn't realistic at all.

I also did the City and Goldfields tour, which is a great way to see a lot of the key locations across Dawson and beyond. Getting to go into Dredge No. 4 and touching the cold water at Bonanza Creek were highlights for me.

I also booked a Midnight Dome tour on the day of the tour. I am so glad I didn't try to hike up the intimidatingly high dome myself! Do the bus tour and thank me later. Pro tip: bring and use bug spray. Midnight Dome was basically the only place in Dawson where I felt I needed it (but I may have just gotten lucky).

The tour buses and vans were spacious and comfortable, and I guarantee you will learn a lot on whatever tour you join.

I can't wait to start planning a winter trip here to go on a Northern Lights tour with Klondike Experience!

Thanks again Jesse and team!

My recent January trip to Dawson City with Klondike Experience exceeded all expectations.

Jesse (our guide) was waiting at the airport, despite our flight being delayed, and whisked us away to Bonanza Creek to impart some gold mining history. It was a fascinating tale. I'd always thought you just dipped your pan in the water and scooped out gold. Nope!

Next stop, Dawson City proper. A true gold rush town, the architecture really brings you back to a bygone era. In early January, not many establishments were open.
Those that were, welcomed us with open arms.

The trip to Tombstone Territorial Park was out of this world. Snowshoeing on the frozen Klondike River, venturing above the tree line, walking on tundra - amazing!

On our last day in Dawson, Jesse arranged a tour of the museum and a walking tour of the City. Both were superb. Though our schedule was tight, Jesse kept us on time.

Throughout it all, Jesse was a font of knowledge regarding local history and the many colourful characters who lived it. His passion for the area shines through.

Klondike Experience's commitment to sustainable tourism was evident, even in the frigid temperatures, ensuring the preservation of Dawson City's charm and history. Despite the cold, the trip was an adventure I won't soon forget.

A group of 14 of us adventured to Dawson City in February and it was absolutely amazing. Jesse and his team were incredibly attentive and accommodating even through the freezing temperatures (-45C)! They took us on an amazing organized tour - Snowshoeing in Tombstone Park was unbelievable. I would definitely recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Dawson City.

What a great experience, seeing Dawson City with Jesse and Klondike Experience! Everything exceeded my expectations. I was really interested in seeing what a northern community is like, aside from the tourist-y things, so my friends and I visited in January. Jesse put up with all my questions, and gave me an idea of what it's like to live in Dawson. The itinerary he created was perfect. Highlights included hiking the (frozen) Klondike at Tombstone Territorial Park, and the tour of the city. Even though the Northern Lights didn't co-operate while we were there, it was fun hanging out at night at the Dome. It was colder than I could imagine while we were there, but we were well taken care of. Thanks, Jesse, for a trip I'll always treasure and think of fondly, and for indulging my curiosity about the community.

Our guide was Jessie, the owner. As a former teacher and long time resident of Dawson City, he is very knowledgeable, articulate, enthusiastic and very proud of the Yukon and Dawson City area. Our 3 hour tour flew by but gave us a great insight into gold mining and of what it is truly like to live in the area.

From the moment we were picked up by Nobey, Klondike experience did not disappoint us. Nobey had to wait for our delayed flight and greeted us with a warm smile. I told him that my mom didn't speak any English and he promptly told me about your German speaking guide and emailed me a schedule. According to this information we were able to book all our bus tours. We did the dome tour which was very informative, Tombstone tour and gold tour. Kevin was our German guide for two of our tours. His enthusiasm was infectious and he was a wealth of information. In either language lol He went the extra mile and showed us much of Yukon's Tundra. We were truly impressed.
We also did a scenic flight tour to Tombstone Park with Pin wheel Charters and Collin was excellent to us. He picked a perfect pic nic spot for us to land. He was so helpful and knew so much about the area. The tour with Thomas on the River was amazing and Thommy did not disappoint. His sense of humor and knowledge was outstanding. I was initially hesitant to go on a tour but.. I am so so very happy we did. They truly were worth the money and time and made for some incredible memories. Dawson has much to offer but truly, it was the people who made our stay extra special.

We signed up for this tour through our Holland American Land and Sea tour. Our Guide was very knowledgeable and he did a really good tour. He started it off down by the river in Dawson City and on to a city tour. We then made our way out to the Bonanza Creek Discovery Claim, walked down to the river where the gold was first found. Then we were off to see Dredge no. 4. This was disappointing. When we signed up it said we would get a tour, well we were only allowed on the bottom floor, you needed a government range to do the tour. The only reason we signed for this tour was to see the Dredge, so we were disappointed, how most of the cool stuff was on the upper levels of the dredge. After that we headed back to the drop off place.
