We were part of a group of 22 who were touring Yellowknife, Whitehorse and Dawson City with a tour guide from the East Coast. Our guide booked the bus ride from Whitehorse to Dawson with Klondike Experience and the driver entertained us with lots of information for much of the 8 hour trip. He also stopped for the best photo ops, at the largest cinnamon bun shop and for rest stops. The next day Jesse was our driver/guide for a drive through Dawson (hitting all the highlights), out to Dredge No. 4 and Discovery Creek and then to the Midnight Dome. Our final part day there Jesse delivered us to the airport in the morning, where we discovered that our plane was grounded for mechanical reasons. Jesse was called back out to take us back to Dawson (there is nothing to do/eat at the airport). On his way he arranged for us to visit the Dawson City Museum and have a private lunch at a restaurant owned by a friend. We were taken back out to the airport for a 5 p.m. flight. As other people have said Jesse seems to go above and beyond to help people have their best experience in his beloved home of choice.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Jesse and his great team over the past several days. They are top notch in my book, and I've taken tours all over the place. Super kind, knowledgable folks who want to ensure you get the best experience possible.
I needed transportation to and from the airport (no official cabs in town). I requested an airport pick-up in advance and the team was able to accommodate me despite how busy they are, which was an absolute lifesaver as walking to and from the Dawson City Airport isn't realistic at all.
I also did the City and Goldfields tour, which is a great way to see a lot of the key locations across Dawson and beyond. Getting to go into Dredge No. 4 and touching the cold water at Bonanza Creek were highlights for me.
I also booked a Midnight Dome tour on the day of the tour. I am so glad I didn't try to hike up the intimidatingly high dome myself! Do the bus tour and thank me later. Pro tip: bring and use bug spray. Midnight Dome was basically the only place in Dawson where I felt I needed it (but I may have just gotten lucky).
The tour buses and vans were spacious and comfortable, and I guarantee you will learn a lot on whatever tour you join.
I can't wait to start planning a winter trip here to go on a Northern Lights tour with Klondike Experience!
Thanks again Jesse and team!

We've just returned from an incredible winter tour with Klondike Experience - Jesse was our guide and managed our team of 18 (students & teachers) with incredible consideration and thoughtful planning. From Whitehorse to Dawson City, we felt like every need was cared for - from food, to accommodation, comfortable transportation, safety and thoughtfully planned activities (we did everything!). Jesse's knowledge of the area is unrivalled and we learned so much about the great Canadian north. Our students are still talking about this trip and we look forward to continuing the adventure next year.

George took us up to tombstone park. He was very knowledgeable about the area and it's history. We stopped at the interpretation center and tried the exclusive labrador tea that was steeped in a wood stove. The weather was great and we had amazing clear views all around. We stopped at a campground and had lunch on a picnic table under the warm sun. Just a great 5 star experience all around. Highly recommend taking this trip.

Jesse took our group out to Talus Lake and we had a great time. The location was fabulous, but he was the star of the show. His hospitality was amazing! He took care of our group better than I ever could have expected.

We wanted to visit Tombstone Park when in Dawson. As rental cars are not encouraged/allowed on the Dempster Highway we signed up with Husky Bus for a day trip. Our knowledgeable driver and HB owner drove the 1 ½ hours to the beginning of the Park. We stopped at viewpoints and the excellent Interpretive Centre. He guided us on a short hike on an interpretive trail for more spectacular views. We were then provided with and excellent cold lunch(included in the fare) in the Campground Shelter. Our drive turned around just after passing the height of land between the Pacific and Arctic watershed divide. We were fortunate to enjoy the short Fall colour season. Just a great way to see Tombstone and the beginning of Arctic flora and fauna. Departed Dawson at 9am and returned about 4.45 pm. Husky Bus offer other tours around Dawson City and a regular service to Whitehorse. Charters can be arranges with Jesse, the owner.

I was in Whitehorse Last friday and Saturday. at 9;10 in the morning I called this company. I spoke with some one called Jessie. He said the tours are 7:30 & 8:30 pm. I booked for 8:30 . in short, i gave all my information including my hotel name, celphone number and credit card.
I waited at my hotel lobby until 9 pm on Saturday and they never show up and they never call me why. I called my credit card to dispute the amount. Up to the moment I haven't received any explanation nor my credit.
Never book to this tour company they will rip you off....

I would be happy to refund your tour of course. Please call us back when you can and once again very sorry for keeping you waiting. Kind regards,
Jesse

We were greeted at the airport by Noby, who would also be our guide for night viewing and a day tour of Dredge 4. He was very kind, knowledgeable and a great host! Sadly, we didn’t see any northern lights, but it’s not like he had a switch to flip! He prepared a fire for our comfort, poured hot chocolate to warm our bellies and provided sleeping bags to keep us extra warm in the Midnight Dome, all while watching the sky for the Aurora with hope. The Milky Way was spectacular and Mars was as bright as can be.
Jesse, the proprietor, took us for our day trip to Tombstone and across the continental divide, where water flows to the arctic. The Dempster Highway is certainly a marvel of human ability, with a lot of interesting history, second to the natural marvel of landscape it cuts through. I took a spill on the ice right before our hike, but managed to tough it out. Later, when we returned to the hotel and I was feeling less tough, Jesse was prepared to take me to the doctor but I refused. He only left us after making sure I had some Advil and an ace bandage. The next day, Noby’s first question was about my health and well being.
We also had a 1 hour Canada Parks tour, with Sarah, through Dawson City that took my imagination back in time. The tales of the struggles and perseverance through the gold rush made me feel less cold from then on.
I would highly recommend this outfit!

We enjoyed working with Jesse of Klondike Experience who helped us organize our trip in Dawson City followed by a drive up The Dempster Highway to Inuvik. Our driver and guide Sandra was excellent not only with her driving skills but her eclectic knowledge of the area -- its history, plants & trees, the dredges, gold fields, etc.. Our bus was brand new...Jesse could not have been more accommodating with us and feel we struck "gold" using his company

We cannot praise Jessie and his team enough for being shown a brilliant time in and around Dawson. The highlight was, without doubt, the day trip to Tombstone Territorial Park with our guide Tommy who was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable on a very wide range of subjects. Despite the inclement weather the fall colours were picture book perfect and the resultant photos really do not do them justice. Our other trips to the Dome, #4 dredger and the Northern Lights viewing were all conducted in a very prompt, informative and welcoming manner. Jessie and his team are to be congratulated on providing such a memorable package showcasing the best of Dawson City and it's surrounding attractions.

Thank you so much for your feedback! It was such a pleasure to bring you folks out, and even though Tombstone Park is so beautiful it sells itself, we're very proud of the excellent staff we have! You are welcome back to our special little town any time!

Hi there, thanks for your message. The Aurora can only be seen in the dark, and belive it or not we've got so much daylight in the summer months that it doesn't get dark! We do have a few good day trip or half day ideas for you though. Tombstone Park is a great place to spend the day, or for a shorter trip join one of City Tours. Feel free to check out our website for more info. Thanks!
