We were very disappointed with Entrance Bay campground on Cultus Lake. It is a provincial campground and usually they are well maintained. There is no crosswalk from the campground to the beach and crossing the road is extremely dangerous . We asked if there was a safer crossing and was told by a park attendant that most people drive. The beach is literally right across the road and we were not going to drive our RV after setting up camp. The beach itself is filthy and there does not look like there is any attempt to clean it up. Geese are everywhere and both the foreshore and the beach are covered with geese feces, feathers, old band aids and debris. All of this would wash into the lake after a rainfall. No wonder you can get the itch from swimming there. I would fear getting a lot more than that. I am surprised the lake is open for swimming at all.
Our campsite was right beside the road and very noisy from all of the racing cars going by. Nobody was going the speed limit of 50. We had to wear ear plugs for sleeping.
There is a lot of entertainment available near by and if action is what you want you may enjoy Cultus Lake. But if you are there to enjoy nature I would not recommend this campground or lake to anybody.

The bathrooms are filled with sand and toilets are never cleaned. Also, the old man that collects recyclables in his red cart should let others collect recyclables too, its not his beach!!!!! Also, since his cart is now motorized, his cart should no longer be allowed on the beach, if he can, than we as beach goers can drive on the beach too.

The beach gets crowded at 11am and very difficult to find parking after that.
The lake is very nice but it is impossible to practice social distancing.

Awful campground. Noisy. Busy. Dreadful showers dirty torn revolting shower curtains. Zero privacy on campground, all packed in together. Would not recommend. No stars would have been better

If you want a safe, beautiful lake for you and your family to visit, go to Cultus Lake. There is easy access and great beaches - take your choice. We love to take our grand children there. Lots of beaches to choose from with good parking at the larger beaches.

This is a great place during the summer to take the family, in the fall it become quiet and a great spot for quiet reflection, in the winter walk along the path for the christmas light display and excercise.

One of the most picturesque lake around! Glacier fed, mountainous and coldest lakes close to Chilliwack. There are lots to do there, food, water slides, swimming, boating, fishing and if you are a photographer type there are limitless things to photograph.
Very family oriented, lots of parking around. Not to mention camping! ☺
So many things to do, get out there and enjoy!

Cultus lake is huge and what they don't tell you in most reviews that it is divided to numerous bays a longthe lake. So if you can't find a spot you like keep driving, the chances are you ll find another spot on another bay. The only challenge is to find a parking spot. Make sure to start your day early, so you can have choices. All the bays straight on are free parking, except for one spot that is you have to pay for parking. It is the first beach on the right side of the Marina, on the opposite direction heading towards the last bay, Maple bay, all free parking. When any parking is full they close the gates.

Are they flexible on max adults? We have 6 adults and 1 child, so still below the max 8 people. I know some other parks aren't too fussed if you're not a group of 20 year olds lol. Thanks!
