We didn't spend a lot of time here, just enough to get some wonderful pictures and enjoy the awesome views of the mountains with family and friends.

We went on a weekday for a lunchtime picnic. Took my SUV up there and made it ok. Just be careful on the bumpy potholed road. We only saw a few people up there so it was very quiet and peaceful. We were shocked and...More

Great lake with small sandy private beaches. Good place to kayak. Small crayfish in the lake - keeps kids entertained catching them. Forestry road access to the lake.

Was there this past weekend. Had a great time with couple other people. Although the site isn't that far away from civilization, it is absolutely quiet and the views are amazing. The way up to the site is quite bumpy it is recommended that you...More

Water is quite high this year, the beach area we found that had space was littered with broken glass from parties the night before. Had to leave as it wasn’t safe for young kids, super disappointing after the long drive.

The drive left much to be desired unless you like slow, steep, narrow and really bumpy trails. I would take a friends car up there but not my own. Great road for trucks and goats... BUT.... Once you get to the BC Hydro campsite it's worth the...More

This is a very scenic and picturesque location but because it is so close to the city and fairly easy to access, it has become a dump; too many people show up to "party" and leave without cleaning up after themselves. The road up is...More

We tried to visit Jones Lake today for the first time in many years. At least ten cars were parked at the bottom of the road to the lake. I suspect they caught a ride up with friends driving 4x4's. We drove about 1.5 km...More
