Discovering Bridal Falls. Beautiful Waterfall in the Fraser Valley. Discovering Bridal Falls is a beautiful and iconic waterfall in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia Canada. Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park is highlighted by a short walk to a waterfall that cascades down the rocks from 60 meters above. The name of the park comes from the waterfall as it creates a "veil like" effect from the falling water. Get out and live your EPIC life, we do at Vancity Adventure

On a rainy day we walked up to the falls. It was a nice hike and the veil covered the rocks. Not many people.

Always a beautiful walk through the lush rain forest to the beautiful waterfall. Only a medium amount of fitness is necessary.

Nice waterfall 15 minutes short walk, a bit slippery if you want to climb to the waterfall.
The address on trip advisor was incorrect, use google maps instead.

While I do find it rather curious that “Bridal Veil Falls Waterfall” and “Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park” are separate entries on TripAdvisor, I reckon one could make the case that the former refers specifically to the waterfall while the latter refers to the park more generally? I guess that’s the logic behind the two entries, but pretty much all of the reviewers written for the waterfall also make reference to the park grounds; so, in a sense, they are duplicate entries. I probably shouldn’t fret about this minor detail but such is life, I suppose.

A brief stop at Bridal Veil Falls represented the perfect conclusion to our time in the Fraser Valley and also served as an ideal wind down to our “essential” road trip. Located 15-minutes east of Chilliwack, just off TC1, Bridal Veil Falls provided us – as weary travelers – with a moment to take in the fresh air and recharge our batteries before hitting the road for an extended time.

As other reviewers have remarked, the park itself is fairly small but it packs quite a lot into its 32 hectares: There is ample parking to be had; washroom facilities are available in the parking lot area, as are a few picnic tables; and the relatively brief hike up towards the falls – approximately 15-minutes each way – is serene while concomitantly highlighting some of BC’s natural beauty. Indeed, when we think about “Beautiful British Columbia,” Bridal Veil Falls should appear on everybody’s “top 10” list.

When I was much younger (say, under 10 years of age), I patronized this very park with my grandparents. At the time, I remember thinking the walk up towards the falls took way longer than it actually did. It’s amazing how a child’s mind can work at times. Granted, I didn’t appreciate the falls quite as much as I do now – I was far more interested in visiting Flintstone Park and/or Bridal Falls Waterpark – but it was still a sight to behold at the time (and, while standing at the falls, my mind was racing, saying, “Okay, we came! Now let’s go see the Flintstones!”).

Fast-forward to 2020. We again find ourselves at Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park following a pretty lengthy absence. Nearby Flintstone Park and its successor, Dinotown, are no more, but that’s fine. The falls are the real attraction here and, I have to say, it was medicine for the soul to hike under the dense canopy and through the lush ferns en route to the cascading “veil” of water at the trail’s zenith. In the times of COVID-19, these sorts of “rest stops” are exactly what we need to feel reinvigorated and hopeful.

Beyond the natural beauty of this park, what made this stop particularly memorable was having the grandparents with us again. Because of their advanced age, they did not partake in the hike up towards the Bridal Veil Falls; however, but just having them present was quite meaningful and significant.

Bridal falls is just beautiful. The park is awesome and the walk to the falls from the carpark is about 15 mins and we'll worth the visit.

I actually went there in 2017. It was super nice and scenic. I loved it... Why does it need to be 100 characters.

It was a sunny but balmy day when we visited the park. The falls look like a veil cascading down so the name Bridal Veils. It is accessible from highway1 and its a 15 min walk up from the parking to the falls. It was an invigorating walk and felt energized after smelling fresh air .
