While staying in Williams Lake we wanted to do a day trip on the Fraser River. There was never a response to my email inquiries after attempts were made on two different days to contact them.

A wonderful day on the river with Doug and Charlene even for a "scardy cat" like myself. Great scenery, food and history lesson to boot! A must do!

My wife and I along with some friends and family enjoyed a wonderful Labour Day trip on the Fraser River with Doug and Charlene Green's Cariboo Chilcotin Jetboat adventures. Doug has an excellent knowledge of the river and the history of it right back to the First Nations and early white explorers. We stopped and saw several petroglyphs, as well as cabins from the gold rush of 1859 and the subsequent Chinese miners mining sites complete with old stone ovens. We also saw California Big Horn sheep ( several bunches ) and a black bear all in a spectacular setting of hoodoos, canyons, desert and forest. We enjoyed a nice lunch on a gravel bar at Churn Creek, and some of us tried our hands at gold panning with the pans they supplies us. We all found colours in our pans, but no nuggets ! All in all a wonderful day and an exciting ride dodging rocks and running rapids, as well as roaring along the quieter sections, slowing or stopping frequently for some point of interest. I am already looking forward to perhaps an overnight trip with Doug in the future.

My 5 day tour down the Fraser with Doug Green at the helm was beyond my wildest dreams. Photographer Chris Harris showed us how to "see" the river, in the always changing light. The imagery, the stories, and the food were second to none. Dennis Robinson
