Really interesting place for our kids and us. We enjoyed gold panning, stagecoach ride and shows. They have done a great job of preserving the past and making it very interesting. Our kids loved it. Much to do for two days there.

We had a long drive from Alberta and we wondered if the trek would be worth it. It was! The moment we arrived in the evening we were immediately transported back in time. We stepped through the gate to a true ghost town. Night time,...More

This well-preserved and restored village has actors in character who entertain visitors with delightful depictions of the past. The actors are personable, talented and authentic while telling the stories of the mining town. Highly recommended!

Surprisingly for such a modest entry fee, the day here was fabulous. The features throughout the day are recommended, so don't miss them, especially the water engine, which is so funny. There is enough here to spend the whole day exploring the houses and history,...More
