At 116 km this is the best canoe circuit in North America or at least Western Canada. In June and July you can get wet but see lots of bear and moose. Go in August and lose the big animals but also the bugs. Easy...More

We completed the circuit in a leisurely 6 days. We camped somewhere new each night. We would get up early and start by 7 am and be done and at our new camp by 12-1 pm. The first two portages have many "pot holes" and...More

Just finished the circuit in 6 days! It was fantastic! Going in August is a trade off - busier than other months but weather was perfect and no mosquitoes! Really recommend going to really disconnect from regular life and connect with nature and your family....More

I did this twice as a young teen, now I'm going back next year. From memory it is an absolutely serene and detached trip, highly recommended.

June is bad for rain and bugs. I would suggest first week of September - kids are back in school so it’s easier to book the larger camp sites
