We made it through the circuit in 6 days and it was one of the best adventure trip I have taken. The scenery was awesome and getting away from cell phones and the Internet is just what the doctor ordered. We saw quite a bit of wild life with up close viewing of moose. The park organization was super and... More

We completed the circuit in a leisurely 6 days. We camped somewhere new each night. We would get up early and start by 7 am and be done and at our new camp by 12-1 pm. The first two portages have many "pot holes" and take a bit longer to finagle through. We saw a few moose in the grassy... More

Just finished the circuit in 6 days! It was fantastic! Going in August is a trade off - busier than other months but weather was perfect and no mosquitoes! Really recommend going to really disconnect from regular life and connect with nature and your family. Great experience!

I did the circuit in 8 days, could have done it in 6 but 8 was fine. We had a small group of 3 - one canoe and one kayak. First 1/2 of the circuit it was quite cool (13 C the high one day) and rainy off and on. So make sure you have proper gear, my goretex gear... More

I did this twice as a young teen, now I'm going back next year. From memory it is an absolutely serene and detached trip, highly recommended.

My partner and I recently finished a 10 day canoe trip on Bowron Lakes with Sea to Sky Expeditions: http://seatoskyexpeditions.com/ The lakes were stunning, the paddling was fun and varied, and the guides, Tom and Casey, were fantastic. We briefly tossed up doing the trip independently but didn't want to carry camping gear around Canada so contacted Sea to Sky... More

If you are planning a trip to Bowren, go with a small local company that is so passionate about the outdoors - see Pathways Bowren Lakes. Words cannot express how fortunate we were to have Simon as our guide. His wealth of knowledge and passion for the outdoors spills over to every aspect of the trip. Not only is the... More

Just returned with my four sons from canoeing the Bowron Canoe Circuit. This is an awesome experience for individuals who appreciate a wilderness experience which offers a variety of beauty involving mountains, rivers, lakes and yes somewhat challenging portages. We stayed at Beckers Lodge and rented our canoes and kayaks from their operation. We would rate Beckers offering and service... More
