We took our three granddaughters to see the New West Theatre Christmas special, Celebrate. We wanted to introduce them to what Lethbridge has to offer for live productions, and we have enjoyed the shows in the past. Let me first say the talent is very good. From singing voices to playing instruments, there is a wonderful contribution to putting on shows that are very entertaining. On the other hand, I would definitely not have rated this show 'family friendly'. The overuse of adult humor left me to wonder if they are lacking material that could entertain a family audience. For us, the obsession with male genital antidotes did not add to the talent, but was rather a distraction. In the future, it would be helpful for the shows to be rated for the actual content, so the public can make a decision on what age group the show would be appropriate for. We would definitely rate this particular show as PG-14.

Attending Elf: The Musical on opening night was a great way to spend an evening with a friend! My husband and I bought season tickets this year but he was unable to attend and the play will definitely get a person in the Christmas spirit. Thanks for a great production!

New West is always very entertaining. It is amazing to see this caliber of talent locally. Lots of laughs, great music, impressive actors and band. Our group of eleven included a wide range of ages from 12 to 88 and everyone enjoyed it. The cast has changed a bit over the years but always excellent.. Thanks for a great night!

Such a great show . So much talent. And a good variety of comedy mixed with singing. The band was also very talented. Good bumps from some of the songs belted out. Laughing so hard at the skits. Great job!! Fresh talent mixed with the some of the great older talent. Will definitely go again.

We had a fabulous time! Everything was fresh and new. All four of us really loved the production!! I’d recommend it to families as it’s very kid friendly! Great show for the whole family. I’m going to more productions this year!!

What a great time with family and friends at New West Theatre's Blockbuster last night . The cast, band and sound were first rate. Beautiful music mixed with hilarious skits. We are so fortunate to have entertainment of this caliber in Lethbridge.

Coworkers and myself took some clients here for a musical. The musical was hilarious and fun. My clients really enjoyed the atmosphere. They are currently undergoing renos.

Small city feel, yet superb talent showcased in each and every performance. Tgeatre group offers 4-5 show each season, mostly musicals but also dramatic arts. Great for all ages; bring a friend for an evening of hilatpeity and fun! Accessible location for people with hearing or mobility issues. Short intermission, limited selection and 50:50 draws.
