    Nice place
We went to Pyramid Lake for a swim and a picnic lunch. Nice lake with mountain views. Not crowded at all so relatively quiet and the water, although a little on the cool side, is swimmable. Quite a few picnic tables in the shade.

    Beautiful area
Great area to spend a short time or longer. Lodging, restaurant, lots of water activities including some great beaches. The little island is great to stroll around on. There’s plenty of picnic places and places to sit and enjoy the views. Only a little more than 5 mins from downtown center of Jasper. Great hidden location.

    Pleasant
We stayed in Banff and went early to avoid the crowds (9-10). The rental office is located in the same lot as the Lodge. Quinn helped with general inquiries and was there to push us off shore. He was informative, told us we'd be charged an extra hour if we returned more than 15 minutes over time, and gave us the quick run down on the lake/weather conditions. Caitlin was in the rental office and signed us in promptly, gave us the safety briefing, and our life jackets. The lake itself was beautiful and calm. It's definitely a worthwhile experience to paddle around compared to taking pictures on the shore. We got a close but safe distance to a deer, and you're far enough from the roads to hear loons and other waterfowl. If you beeline, you can probably make it to the island and back in less than an hour, though I personally recommend ambling in the centre of the lake.

    Good trails to choose from
It’s a beautiful short drive or longish hike up to these lakes from Jasper . We dropped 2 of our group off for a two hour trail rise which they both throughly enjoyed . Then drove up past the lakes as far as the road goes, and did a hike following the forest track onwards, then following the path off to the left ( it’s marked) and crossing a stream by the bridge and completing a circular . About 6ks with a bit of up and down . The view back over the lake is gorgeous.

    Two pretty lakes
Quick and easy to get to, these lakes are worth a visit if you are in Jasper. They are just a few kilometres along Pyramid Lake Road to the north of the township. Subalpine forests and rocky mountain peaks create a stunning background for these two beautiful lakes. The reflection of Pyramid Mountain in the waters of Patricia Lake is a photo worth snapping! The highlight of Pyramid Lake is a walk across the bridge to Pyramid Island. The lakes are a hub for a variety of recreational activities including camping, picnicking, hiking, boating, and swimming.

    Worthy of a visit.
Visited: 02/06/2023. Well worth a stop if driving, catch your breath and enjoy the views. We visited on a sunny day and early in the morning (around 7am). Really peaceful to hear the birds singing, the mist floating across the lakes surfaces, and just enjoy the mountain views. Both Pyramid and Patricia were beautiful. Be careful not to interrupt wildlife at Pyramid Lake, there is a small island you can walk to, when we arrived first thing there was a large Elk grazing. It was lovely to watch until she swam away.

    Walk to an island
We have Mr. Zach of Beckers Gourmet Restaurant to thank for recommending the Pyramid Lake that has a bridge to an island from which to view the Pyramid Mountain up-close. It is a short and easy hike to the island and around it that offers picturesque vantage points all around. My 92-year old Nay enjoyed it! There is a beach before you reach the entrance to the bridge. Two miles before Pyramid Lake is Patricia Lake which is also nice to see.

    Well worth a visit!
Definitely worth a short detour out of Jasper. An hour or so was enough, but a lovely walk out to the island over the bridge. There are some chairs scattered around and it was so quiet in March that we had the island to ourselves. Serenity plus🙏

small beautiful lake and nice seating and lookout on dock of Patricia lake bungalows. We liked the view from 16 and 21 if we were to rent one. we decided to rent kayaks at Patricia Lake this time...wonderful helpful staff and reasonable price of 35 per hour and pay when you return so no rushing back after an hour. in off season no one there and it started off great but once we got the key it was down hill from there. the double kayak seat in the back was broken and unusable. went back to get key for other one and it would not work. called up for help and no keys worked ..40 minutes later standing around we are out on lake but by that time the wind kicked up so bad we had turn back after 15 minutes. Also launch is off the shore so have to wade in to get in ...not pleasant but maybe next time would be better. There are not many rentals so you would want to go early. they did not charge us and i should hope not is was a kayak rental fail. we will be back but liked the rentals at the jasper park lodge better

Beautiful Lake with a spectacular view of the mountains. We rented a Double Kayak (moderately priced), and spent an hour paddling around. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The drive up from Jasper townsite is quick and there are lots of nice areas to stop and have a picnic by the lake. Highly recommend if you are only in Jasper for a short period of time.

We hired a double Canoe on Pyramid Lake from the Pyramid Boathouse. Registration was quick and safety briefing was given by their staff. Life jackets and a whistle were issued before bing cast off in the canoe. It’s a lovely area and so tranquil on the water. Having got use to the paddling we moved into the lake spotting Elk paddling just off shore and hearing the call of the Loons.

I parked by car by the boat launch and walked to the island. The walk took about 20 minutes but you have to be careful of the cars on the road. To get to the island there is limited parking. The scenery is very pretty. Once you are on the island you can walk the loop. Go early as there alot of tourists. The road to get to these lakes are very windy and narrow. In my opinion I liked Pyramid lake better than Patricia lake. A person can rent a paddle boat, canoe or kayak at Pyramid lake. Very peaceful and beautiful.

These lakes are a short drive behind Jasper and there is a very good chance you will see some wildlife.

It can be a little windy so take some extra clothes to throw on. We also went back around 10 PM to see the stars - AMAZING!

All the stars are so much brighter and the Milky Way stretches across the sky. If you are lucky you may see a shooting star.

My wife and I, as tourists belonging to the Rocky Mountaineer tour program, spent a beautiful day touring Jasper National Park with Mike Morrison, the driver/tour guide assigned to us through Brewster Sightseeing. I feel that Mike deserves to be highlighted for his professionalism in providing that balance of knowledge, humor and genuine interest in pleasing the customer that only years of experience can provide. Mike combined his explanations of the geology, geography and history of the various sites with interesting stories of WW II, key people who made their marks in the region and used humor to keep us entertained. He stopped the bus on multiple occasions to permit us to see wildlife; elk, rocky mountain big horned sheep, etc... He also interceded on our behalf calling Rocky Mountaineer to answer our questions regarding Covid testing, testing locations and next day pickup. You will be very pleased if your guide turns out to be Mike Morrison!!!

Narrow road to get to each lake. Patricia Lake we did not visit but Pyramid Lake was very busy with weekend visitors, hardly any parking anywhere at either place. Lots of people in canoes, paddle boards or just sunbathing, Beautiful scenery

This isn't very far out of town .. on our arrival we noted that almost all the parking in three lots was full for pyramid island ..we didn't discover why until we got to the bridge and discovered that a wedding party had taken over the entire Island this would have been nice had it not been for swarms of wedding Partiers and then the photographer closed the bridge down and you couldn't get back across while she was doing photos... this was the only day that we could go but what we were able to see looked beautiful with a little loop to walk around and would have been nice on a quieter day ..we stopped by the boat rental at pyramid Lake the last boat goes out somewhere around 4:30 it was too late for us to rent one but it looks like a lovely thing to do lots of different types of boats to rent paddle boats canoes kayaks decent price to..there is a restaurant and beach not to far...this area is a must-see beware if there's a lot of people there won't be any parking available to walk across the bridge...

We paddled Pyramid lake in our kayak. We parked at the first beach and launched from the shoreline. It started as a BEAUTIFUL paddle - lake was glass; however, when the wind picks up on here - Splash Mountain galore! Don't let the small size fool you - this can get whitecappy and choppy and QUICK. Still great though!

We visited Pyramid and Patricia Lakes and they are really breathtaking, I would say maybe a little less popular then some of the other lakes in Jasper. Next time I go up I will stay at the Patricia Lake Bungalows as that property looked fantastic when we drove by. When we were at Pyramid Lake we saw an island across the lake and drove over there. Go to Pyramid Island! The views are gorgeous, you get to see pyramid mountain and learn some of the History of the island.
