Pretty well run operation

We took the skytram in July of 2016. It was a very efficiently run operation. We very much enjoyed the one kilometer hike at the top. Be sure not to miss.

A must do in Jasper even if like myself you hate heights. It's worth the squeaky bum moment to enjoy the fantastic views. We also did the cable car in Banff, good but not as spectacular IMO as Jasper. Top tips if you hate heights A beer A spare pair of under crackers

We hat seen this on The Amazing Race Canada, and were intrigued - so thought we'd check it out. Arrived on a Friday lunchtime and had an hour and ten minutes to get on the next tram (there are 2 trams running - different from constant gondolas). There is a cafe and small gift shop with picnic tables to wait.... More

Love everything about the Skytram, but the ride up is quite crowded because they stick 20-30 people on it at a time. The 1.3km hike to the peek of the mountain is a little steep, but once you get up there, it's worth it!

Very crowded in the morning but worth the trip. Beautiful views of the surrounding area with the mountains and a great view of the town of Jasper. Don't forget to stop in the restaurant for reasonably priced, good food with a fantastic view.

A bit pricey but once up Whistler's Mountain the views are spectacular. There is an observation deck, gift shop, and cafe. There are also hiking trails that allow you to go further up the mountain, if you like. Would highly recommend this activity.

Our Family of four kids aged 10 and 12 really enjoyed this. You get some great views of the townsite the lakes and all the surrounding mountains. We did the additional hike to the top took us a little over an hour and the views even got better. It was difficult at times and quite steep. We didn't shop by... More

Unfortunately, when we arrived, the wind had picked up and the Skytram was on stand-by, which was disappointing. However, the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful; they immediately offered refunds, which they took care of promptly, as well as offering re-booking opportunities and suggestions for other nearby attractions. However, some unlucky travelers were stuck at the top of the Skytram... More

I got my ticket. Then the hour wait I almost cancelled. Thank god I didn't! Once you reach the top there is a long wait to get down with gift shop and bathrooms The hike above the sky tram is incredible. There are about 5 shelves where you think you're at the top. Lol. You can't see them from the... More

It is busy so pick your time. You can book ahead so you are guaranteed the time you want. At the bottom the temp. can be 10 degrees or more hotter than on top of the mountain. The views are amazing and the hike is pretty long and "cardio filled". Loved it.
