Along the Icefield Parkway what a beautiful peaceful drive along the parkway. Take it all in and stop and be amazed. A little pricey but at the same time worth it. Can say we liked it and did it.

This is the place to stop and get tickets to the Icefield tours. You get some good views of the Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Glacier from the viewing deck and you can hang around in the lounging chairs while waiting for your tour. You can also purchase some food and drinks over here as there are not many places on... More

The basement had some neat photos. I was hoping for a little bit more scientific information on glaciers and how the mountains and canyons are formed. The movie was a nice, but I wasn't impressed with it for the same reason. In fact, I struggle to stay awake during the movie. The gift shop was decent and the line to... More

It is quite expensive, 80$ adult and 40$ for child 6+. We went specifically so our children could see and stand on an actual glacier and course they loved the ice bus. But very expensive. By contrast our 3.5 hour rafting trip cost only 4$ more per person and it was well worth it. This is something we will do... More

We stopped here briefly as we were doing the icewalk not the bus tour. We did watch the movie and look through the gallery (both of which were free but empty while hundreds of people were upstairs). We used the restrooms and had a picnic lunch on the patio overlooking the glaciers. The view is breathtaking.

For the price you pay its not really value for money. The glacier you get 20 minutes on the ice in a small pen (health and safety) there didn't appear to be any difference from in or outside the pen. The guides make the trip a little more exciting with their knowledge. Skywalk can be done in like 5 minutes... More

In 2016 Brewster has increased the price of the glacier bus tour from $50 to $80. Included now in the price is the glacier skywalk. You cannot buy only a glacier bus tour anymore. Talking about milking the tourist! The skywalk is at a point where the views were free before it was built. We had visitors and concluded this... More

The location is great and the views are amazing. The center itself is not really all that great. It is mostly made up of ticket lines for the various excursions, a cafeteria and restaurant and a gift shop. There is a counter to get info about the park and a lower level with some photos and a video. I would... More

This is a must-see experience if you are passing. We arrived at about 3.30pm and only had to wait until about 4.15pm until our trip. Our driver was very knowledgeable and explained lots of things. Our young children really enjoyed it. From the discovery centre, you get a coach which takes you 5 minutes up the road to board a... More

We visited the Columbia Ice Fields. Sadly, my son slipped and fell on his bare knees and hands on the ice. When we got back to the Centre, the employees there took care of his injuries quickly and efficiently.
