We stopped mid afternoon on a Friday. The Discovery Centre was so crowded that you could hardly move around. His is the starting point for the Columbia Ice Fields as well as the Glacier Sky Walk. I believe that there are interpretive videos, however, we couldn't get to any of them.

We recently went on the Glacier tour and were disappointed. If you like tourist attractions, in large groups of people, you may enjoy this. My husband and I like to go off and explore on our own and enjoy nature. We felt like zoo animals. We were herded on and off buses, and we were allotted 15 minutes to walk... More

Hayley _KS We are sorry to read that the Glacier Adventure did not offer the specific type of experience you were seeking. The Columbia Icefield area and Athabasca Glacier is a very popular destination for many visiting the Canadian Rockies to come and experience. As such our tour is designed to offer a fully accessible and interpretive experience out onto... More

Did a combined tour of both the ice field and sky walk and it was better than expected. The only downside was the waiting around to get back to jasper as brewster forgot about us!

maddiePortsmouth Glad to read you enjoyed the tours out onto the Glacier and at the Skywalk. As for waiting to get back to Jasper, form your description sounds like you came up on the sightseeing tour from Jasper which then goes onto Banff after the tours. For guest's booked on this tour and not going onto Banff but going back... More

No better way to see the icefields up close than to take the tour. The skywalk also was very informative if you listened to the self guided tour

This is the first time I have ripped off in my national parks. I had been to the icefields numerous times and wanted to share this with my partner. Brewster only sold a combined package that included the icefield and new glass viewing attraction. This was crap and felt like it was designed by someone who spent too much time... More

Busy center for the ice field tours. Has places to eat and a gift shop but expect to pay a huge premium. Has a observation deck of the glacier for those who don't want a tour or hike to see it.

We had breakfast there looking across the road to the glacier and saw the exhibits and movie. The gift shop was nice. We did not take the glacier bus ride.

My daughter and I had purchased tickets in Lake Luise for the skywalk. We were fortunate to arrange for earlier tour at 10:30am when it's not so busy. There was ample parking when we arrived at 10am. Upon entering it was very busy as many tours depart and arrive here. People are also purchasing tickets. There is a small gallery... More

We definitely wanted to experience the Athabasca Glacier adventure. We booked through Brewster tour, which runs the glacier adventure. Efficient and well organized inside the centre. Plan to spend a few hours. There is much to see and enjoy. The ride onto the glacier was spectacular and exciting. Stephan Cote was our guide and he was super. The approx. hour... More
