I was pleasantly surprised by this little campsite. The weather wasn't warm but the site was well kept without being micromanaged. The flying insects were swarming by the lakeshore but non-existent where the sites are set up. There was a fire ban on but that couldn't be helped. I discovered several well-maintained walking trails that go out onto a peninsula... More

Relatively quiet campground. Well maintained. Cleaner than most campgrounds around Grande Prairie. Shallow large pond (not quite a lake).

Free wood when your staying there. Was good prices. Showers cost $1 per min or so so bring change. No issues here for a good area for... More

This is an excellent place to visit on a quiet summer day. Went out with friends for a picnic and absolutely loved it. There are a lot of walking trails and play grounds. We played volley ball, soccer etc. We watched people kayaking. It feel amazing just to dip your foot in the water.

Visited to enjoy a nice walk in nature. I was scared to death the entire time, after seeing the signs warning of bears. My companion, a Canadian wasn't worried at all, that is until we came across the large piles of bear feces. I would never return without bear spray!!!!

Great place to have a BBQ for the day and hang out on the beach or play on the playground. The lake is great not to big and nice to kayak on and try to catch some fish. There are public washrooms open for use.
