"You're staying downtown Edmonton, perhaps at the Matrix. At home, the margins for things like neglected muscles are thin. You're on holiday; you've made time for the gym, or not. Either way, you know your muscles--shaped, shortened, overworked, or underworked by the life that pays the bills--deserve a little care, but you're not sure about trying unknown massage skills in an unknown clinic.
Good news: there's a hidden little gem within a few minutes' walking distance, and I can tell you that you won't be sorry about taking an hour or two to visit.
Tucked in around behind reception, in the corner of the SNAP Fitness studio on 109 Street in a sun-lit pretty room filled with plants, sits owner-operated 109th Street Massage Therapy. Rumour has it that a common phrase among those working in the office towers of the area (which my sister does) is "I love that place; Natalie is amazing!"
I know why. For me, muscles that had once again all but despaired of feeling good again quickly woke up under her professional and expert touch.
Whether its an escape from crippling cubicle posture you're after, or relief after too much hill walking in Edmonton's lovely river valley, or just some pure and undiluted endorphin-boosting relaxation, this is a gem worth checking out when you're in the area."

Natalie is amazing! She has a wonderful way of putting you at ease and her touch is strong but never painful. Her massages are simply the best! I've honestly never had a better massage.
The new studio (no longer in the same building as SNAP Fitness - just across the street now) is gorgeous. It's very tastefully decorated and a very calming place to visit.
The online booking system is so simple to use, and I love that you get a confirmation reminder message too.
And yes, they direct bill!
Everything about this place is perfect!! :)
