Commonwealth Stadium is a great stadium with few bad seats. The Eskimos could work on the pre-game experience which is much better in Regina and Winnipeg. To their credit, the team does an excellent job of celebrating its winning tradition and its heroes of the past.

Canada's largest dedicated outdoor stadium is a great facility that is comfortable, easy to get to and around with multiple easy access amenities. Great place for a concert or a football game.

Watching the Esks play is so fun in this huge beautiful place. Some seats are covered as othets are not. Always bring a poncho when you come so you can still enjoy the game while staying dry as it usually rains. There are tons of drink & food vendors here. There are beer runners as well who come to your... More

Esks did not win! It was great. Had to pack rain gear just in case. In Alberta just wait 5 mins the weather can change.

This is one of many buildings in the area dedicated primarily to sports although the Stadium itself is also handles live concerts. In the immediate area is Clarke Stadium, the sports facility which this arena displaced and several indoor buildings dedicated to sports. The stadium was built to house the 1978 Commonwealth Games and has been the venue for some... More

Commonwealth Stadium, now know as The Brick Field at Commonwealth, is huge! Can hold up to 60,000+ people. Updated seats and a massive jumbotron so you'll never miss a minute of action. Plenty of food outlets and merchandise stores. The main field at Commonwealth primarily hosts the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos and large concerts. Clarke Stadium, directly beside Commonwealth, hosts the... Have been going to Eskimo games, and concerts for years. Fantastic venue that has kept up with the times. New seats, a few years back. New high res jumbo tron. Now electronic signage around the stadium. Not to mention Wi-Fi .

It has been a long time since I was there (used to live nearby), but I like Commonwealth Stadium. If you want to watch football, the old-fashioned way, under the stars, and in the cold, during the winter months, this is the place to be. Same goes with live concerts.
