Getting old, but still a fun place to go. Lots of trails and Edmonton footbridge nearby. Pond for kids to use their nets and try to catch tadpoles. Can pet a snake during certain times and observe honeybees. Nice indoor playground with a cave and slide. Next to Fort Edmonton Park. Lots of local parties and programs run through here... More

My son spent a couple days a month in the play area from the time he was 2 to 5. Great place to let them run at a good drop in price and a great year long pass.

Went with littles ones and found it was more geared to big kids, not easy sightlines for the parent watching and lots of kids camps going on ... harder to keep the little ones safe from bigger kids! good price though! definitely worth the trip and I can see why some parents take they're kids over and over!

Spent a pleasant afternoon at the nature centre. We played in the indoor playground to begin our visit, and checked out the honeycomb exhibit. Then we went to see the bugs, snakes, salamander and habitat display in the other room. After this, we borrowed some nets, and went to the small pond to see what we could catch! Lots of... More

My son has loved the play area in the nature centre since he was 2 and he is 4 now and still loves to go. I tried him in a few classes but found them too slow to hold his attention,

Located right by Fort Edmonton Park, it offers information about nature, activities for children of all ages. A nice gift shop with lots of literature about the River Valley. Our Walking Club meets there at the beginning of every season. A great place to learn about how to look after our natural resources and to respect and love nature. Very... More

We hadn't been here for a long time (not since they renovated), and we were really pleasantly surprised to see the new indoor playground for young kids! My daughter had a great time, and she'll probably enjoy it even more when she gets older (she's under 1 year old right now). I like that they're free to go in if... More
