Walk the Ravine

For walking enthusiasts who love to walk, run or bike down the paths through the ravine. Just like being outdoors in the country even though you are surrounded by the city.

I just love it here, there are so many different trails to walk on so you can always switch it up each time.. Feels like you are not really in the city, the mornings here are beautiful.. I have lived in the city for years and had no idea this place was here..Now the past 5 years it has been... More

Last time was when younger, but was (is) a remarkable place. Paths leading in all directions. Creek gets swollen in spring. Had fun getting wet when trying to jump to other side.

The ravine is very similar, though not as challenging, as a short day hike in the mountains. Many paths are marked and maintained; include benches, rest stops, stairs, bridges and boardwalks. Great for couple on a romantic stroll, families looking for something different from cycling the neighborhood and dog walkers. Hours of fun. Bring water, snacks and go to the... More

A very pleasant, clean and mostly friendly environment to walk and talk, jog, bike or whatever you do to get exercise and convene a bit with nature. Trail maintenance is ongoing and attention to safety is certainly a priority. The is also a youth centre with a bicycle style motocross run - stop by and watch the kids train and... More

My husband and I decided to check out this park. We loaded up our bikes and parked at the south end. We followed the trail system down to the Muttart. It was downhill pretty much the whole way which means up on the way back. The trails were paved and easy to navigate. I will be back but next time... More

This is a great place to take in a walk surrounded by nature! We spent a little over 3 hours walking the paths and I can't wait to go back! There are no facilities that I could find so you can't spent a lot of time there but it's defiantly a beautiful park. It goes on for ever!

This is a great park to take your dog for a walk, throw a frisbee or just enjoy the great outdoors on the walking trails. Beware... bring your skeeter spray... they're out now.

This is one of the best off leash dog parks in Edmonton! Well paved paths and beautiful surroundings, you almost forget that you're in the city. I've taken my dog here so many times and it's always a great experience. Lots of places to smell, swim and meet other four legged friends (and their owners). The full loop takes about... More
