Visited City Hall and loved its beautiful setting in Churchill Square, with the fountains and ponds outside (you can paddle in the pond !) . Very modern interior and exterior Architecture. Fascinating history around the walled galleries showing history of Edmonton, from its origins to modern day, Exhibits of "Declaration", First Nation memorabilia, Photos of all the City Council Leaders,... This building is worth going in and looking up. The pyramid is impressive and really looks like it should be an important government building. Lots of different activities run on many of the days.

The e park meters are totally unfriendly to coins. We have been downtown on two separate occasions with no meter parking anywhere to be found. To top it off, the paying with coins is a sham, as the coins slide through and then a credit card has to be used. You have to walk half a block also to find... More

The wading pool makes City Hall a great place to hang out, especially when the food fair is on, it's a great outing for anyone.

The water fountains are great during the summer and the grounds are well kept. This is a great place to spend a day with family or to sit and read. City hall park if home to a lot of events (Taste of Edmonton, food trucks etc) during the summer.

Edmonton city hall is architecturally beautiful, modern and bright and an excellent location for the fun "City Haul" . The weekend Market takes place inside the grand main hall. Lots of vendors, mostly food and crafts, included live tasteful music (not too loud).

This is a neat little place in the heart of Edmonton despite your typical downtown transient they are typically friendly and usally just take a simple no and follow by a God bless most of them are fairly respectable As for city hall itself this is a cool location church hill square often near by lights up in the summer...
