Yep, busy or not busy, you must bring along ear plugs. The rides are extra loud in the confined space. The loud noise gets reflected off all the walls and straight into your ears.

Something for everyone here. The only downside to our visit last Sunday is that we had to wait on the fire alarm to be turned off before we could go on any rides. It was going off for some reason but there obviously wasn't a fire as nobody seemed to notice.

We stayed in the Roman Luxury Theme room & it was beautiful! The bed was large & round, mirrors everywhere, large jacuzzi. The service was wonderful. We stayed 4 days & 3 nights. We received three $100 vouchers to be redeemed at the L2 restaurant. The sea bass , the strip Loin Steak was cooked to perfection. The federal GST... More

If you have kids you really do need to spend at least 1/2 day at Galaxyland/Fantasyland to experience what set West Edmonton Mall apart when it was built! It is fun. On a -30C Edmonton weekend you can enjoy a tropical escape with awesome water slides... at a fraction of the cost of going to Hawaii.

Children always have a great time here but if you are smart take them to a nice hotel with a pool instead.

All visitors to Edmonton ... will surely want to go to the West Edmonton Mall.. Fantasyland is a part part .... the swimming area (with the wave pool, many water slides, the sand). Great for family. If your a ice skater ... there is a huge ice rink. The is an area of rides: drop of dome, large large roller... More

WE booked and planned on staying in a Polynesian room but because of water damage we were move to a western themed room. the room just felt dirty. The carpet felt grungy and even the wallpaper looked old and stained. I was afraid to sleep with the throw so i only slept with sheets.
