I love this place and could go on and on about it. Location is great, close to downtown but not. Never any traffic. Shows are at 8 or 10 usually which is also perfect for my schedule. Tickets are average about $15 which is basically the cost of a movie at the theater. The actors/comics here are hilarious and its always so much more impressive when its improv. I try to recommend this place to all my friends and they usually end up coming with me. So far I've only seen Gorilla Theater and Past your bedtime. Gorilla Theater is more fast paced and there are more actors so I find it more enjoyable. I love how much they include the audience too. it really makes you feel like you're part of the show (but don't let that freak you out if you are shy... If you don't want to be included they won't bug you) they also serve beer and wine and other snacks. The building and interior aren't fancy by all means but they do the job. Go here on a weeknight or weekend and expect to have a great time!

Six of us (in 20's & 50's) all enjoyed the very clever production of Christmoose Carol.
It was the talented actors that impressed us the most - lots of laughs.
Some audience members found virtually everything hilarious (loud, roaring laughter), but even that added to the overall vibe of the place. Obviously one doesn't expect a 'polished' production at this venue, but it was thoroughly enjoyable.

Our children loved the Just So Stories held on a Sunday. Great for parents too, however as a warning this show isn't improvised like you'd expect from Loose Moose. Still this didn't bother my kids as they've never really seem improv.

We have been going to the Loose Moose Theatre for several years. The plays are always exceptionally done. I love how the actors come out after the play and sign the playbills for the kids. It is excellent value for such a beautiful theatre. They do four plays a year and my family has never been disappointed!

Improv in an out of the way spot - tricky to get to if you're not familiar with the area, but worth it for a fun evening. Reasonably priced, talented improvisers.

we currently discovered the Moose Loose Theater at the Crossroads Farmer's Market in Inglewood and saw 'the shoemaker and the elves'.
It was a great show for our 6 year old and fun to watch for us adults as well.
The actors engaged with the children during and after the show, the children were all excited during the show. The whole family loved it.

It was our first time attending the Loose Moose Theatre for kids. We have a 6 and 3 year old. Both kids enjoyed the show. The seats are comfy and all seats are good viewing so need to worry. We enjoyed the 1 hr production and will plan to go again in the spring.

I just took part to the International Impro Summer School.
Amazing welcome, amazing human environment, great shows, top-notch teachers. I will never forget these 10 days in Calgary with our world-wide impro family.
Couldn't have asked for more.

This probably isnt somewhere visitors to cagary will go to unless you know a local resident.
i went with my son who lives in sw calgary on a recent visit. A very entertaining evening, havnt laughed so much in a while. A reasonsbly cheap evening, not too long at approx 2 hours, but the players are excellent and very funny, it would take ages to describe the evening but basically an inprov night. Well worth a visit if you are in the area on a friday or saturday. Posh it isnt but very entertaining.

We attended "Gorilla Theater" to see an improve show. The cast was talented and high energy. For $15 it was a good show and a nice evening out.
