When it was built, it was the tallest building in Western Canada, but not anymore. It's not even the tallest building Calgary. Plus, there's a newcomer just a block away that is quite unusual, the TELUS Sky building. The Bow skyscraper is still a beautiful thing, but it's no longer the attention-grabber it used to be. Also, the interior was really only average, except the view upwards, and they often closed the south-facing windows, restricting the outside views. So unless they do something very dramatic inside (like open a top floor viewing deck) this once outstanding edifice will be just another big building in Calgary's cityscape.

The Bow building is architecturally wonderful, and when it was the tallest building in Calgary, it had extra appeal. It is still an great landmark. I was on an errand downtown, and noticed that the Plus 15 system from the LRT and the fab new TELUS SKY building was open. The only thing open to the public inside is Tim Hortons. Sad, as there were several interesting restaurants when the downtown was more lively and bustling. Still nice to look at, and the best thing about it now is the amazing art work in front, Wonderland.

We were exploring downtown on a Saturday. Although the signs on the doors suggested they are now closed on weekends via the Plus 15 system, we still got in, but we're not sure if that will continue. It used to be Calgary's tallest building, but it's not anymore, Edmonton has Alberta's tallest. On weekends, all the restaurants are closed, but you can admire it from the outside. Being closed weekends would make it quite a bit less a recommended attraction for visitors, sadly. Nice if you're downtown during the week or for people working nearby it's decent, but all-in-all, no longer for tourists.

It had been Calgary's most unique architectural gem for a long time, and it had been fun to visit it to take pictures. It's neither no longer Calgary's tallest building and nor its most unique, that goes to TELUS Sky. But, as sculpture or backdrop for other things, it is still good for photography.

Definitely a pretty building and if you happen to be within a block or two, it is worth taking a photo of - but I would not make a point of adding this of your places to visit in Calgary.

Although not the tallest building in Calgary, an interesting one. A good example of how an idea can be engineered to form a structure that is neither imposing nor dominating. The public art in front sits in harmony with The Bow. Near to the city centre and easy to find. Visit and just enjoy.

While I have never been inside the building the outside of the building can be seen from almost anywhere when you are looking at the downtown skyline. Very pretty building.

Couldn't go in but looking at it from the outside. Incredible ! Proud that the company I work for constructed this building. Awesome to see it up close.

A beautiful piece of the Calgary skyline. I didn't do anything here except view the building amongst the other buildings in Calgary and it certainly stands out!

Dominating the skyline in Calgary, this building is a wonderful sight from afar and near. Worth a quick look when you are downtown. The sculpture in the front of the building is neat the courtyard is a nice place to stop to take a break - you can also refuel inside in the many fast-food restaurants.
