Dear Manager of VIVO, Since 2017 VIVO begins to carry out a new schedule, it is causing us big inconveniences. The details are given below: 1. Badminton course # 3 is closed so that we cannot have enough courses to play every day. 2. On Weekend VIVO closes much earlier than it did in last year 2016, thus in the... More

We go to swim, utilize the rapid river and hot tub after. Hubby also uses the basketball court and occasionally the gym. When it opens at 5:30 am weekdays, it isn't crowded. Difficult to work out in the water when it gets crowded on weekends shortly after opening at 7am. Expensive. Friendly staff. Women's showers are too small with a... More

This place has got everything: Public Library, Physio clinic, huge swimming pool and hot tub, large gym with many workout machines, climbing wall, ping pong tables, 2 hockey arenas, and I don't even know how many basketball courts it has. The locker rooms are bright and clean. Lots of free parking. But only one thing.. In the cafe area, there's... More

Ok, So Cardel Place has rebranded itself as Vivo... This is still the same old Cardel. The pool is super busy and the programs are top notch. Overall I'm very happy with the Cardel/Vivo experience.

Way overpriced for what you get. Usually just use pool for lane swim, always very busy, no respect for lanes, lifeguards spends lots of time talking and don't seem to care what's going on, kids constantly swimming across lanes. Having to watch ladies shave in the changing rooms is not very pleasant. Spoke with management two weeks ago about my... More

I went to cardel place few months ago and it was very calm. Other facilities are usually crowded but this one is calm and chill. The swimming is small but nice. I love it. But not bad

Attended the Calgary Gem show this year for the first time. It was at Cardel Place for the first time although it the the 54'th annual show for the city. Was very impressed with the venue. The staff were great and on top of everything. There were food vendors outside and it is conveniently located close to the airport and... More

We have been going to Cardel for a number of years. We went in for swimming and a trip to the library. It was perfect as always. Pricey though. A single entry to the pool was $14. My wife and child have a pass but I don't. You might want to consider purchasing a pass as it does pay off... More
