Visit Inglewood bird sanctuary

The Inglewood bird Sanctuary is a nice place to relax and enjoy nature. Although I was there on business, I saw a lot of families enjoying the area.

Behind the visitors centre is a great opportunity to walk through some fantastic riverside areas displaying a variety of greenery and birds.

This place was terrible, we walked for an hour and saw no birds. They didn't even provide a map of their site. The lady working was not friendly.

A bit of heaven less than 4 miles from the city center. What a lovely way to spend a few hours walking/strolling this wonderful park. We are bird watchers and this place delivered. It is also free. Lots of habitat-woodsy, water, scrub, and paved the whole way with several bridges. You would never know that it suffered terrible flooding damages... More

My family and I have been frequent visitors over the years and we always enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. We try to go at least twice a year to see the birds at different stages of growth. Kids especially love it and its always a pleasure to see their interest in the different species of birds and how gentle they are... More

The bird sanctuary was decimated by the flood of 2013 and about half of it is still closed and in recovery mode. I've been coming here for years and even this year there are nesting pairs of Wood ducks. I have never not seen wood ducks there. Not as many other ducks as usual this year.

this is a great place to see birds that may not be any other place in the city. If it is quiet the birds will chatter to each other and come close to the pathways. Great place for pictures. It is like entering a whole other world. great info center at the gate.

I have taken my child, I was a playschool teacher for many years; never missed a year taken those children down there, my grandchildren & I visit often & I take my father down there too. We... More

This was just a spur of the minute place to visit and we were so glad we did. Lovely walk around the lake and down by the river. Lots of birds of prey to admire (all in the wild of course - not cages), deer, geese and several beaver dams (unfortunately no sighting of a beaver that day). But a... More

Beautiful and serene park in the middle of the city! Spend a lovely morning wandering around the park and bird watching. Will definitely go back.
