It's a little gem near Calgary! We saw a lot of young and adult eagles, ducks, geese, magpies, woodpecker, porcupine, etc. Nice easy walk along the river!

Great vision Calgary to preserve such a nice and peaceful environment next to the downtown core. Surprising to see so much bird life in the middle of the winter.

An area kept much in its natural state, where you can see ducks and all kinds of birds, see the work of beavers, stroll in nature, and all this can be done without being surrounded constantly by people. Delightful.

If you want to see birds native to Calgary, this is the place to go. Want to give a special shout out to Jessica who helped us identify birds.

Make sure you go all the way across the railway tracks to the big Inglewood sign. On the north side of the tracks there is an open field area that has more gophers than birds. Inglewood is a lovely walk along an arm of the...More

This has to be the highlight of my trip to Calgary. So satisfying that I made a 5.9km walk all the way back a second time. The sanctuary provides a peek into several mini ecosystems - North American Woods, water bodies, etc. For the patient...More
